Super Smash Bros Creator Really Likes Oculus Rift

Super Smash Bros creator Masahiro Sakurai says that one upcoming piece of technology which he assumes will be a success is  the VR headset, namely, the Oculus Rift. Sakurai says that he has experienced the Oculus Rift VR goggles and is a believer in the experience it offers to immerse gamers. He concluded that he thinks it will be a bit hit with consumers.

“I experienced the ‘Oculus Rift’ VR goggles. You’d have to experience it for yourself to understand, so I won’t say much here, but I’m certain it’ll be a hit in the near future. This, too, is a difference in [the nature of] media”

  1. Sakurai + Oculus Rift = Broken neck

Jokes aside, it’s a cool idea, but needs to be refined, it looks way too goofy and heavy for long playthroughs. I imagine it’s not too good on the eyes too, maybe

    1. Ahahahahah…

Sorry for laughing Sakurai Sir but it was quite funny…

I think the Oculus Rift might be troublesome for people with migrain problems as I am…

  2. Oculus Rift looks awesome! It’d be cool to experience Nintendo games through it. I doubt it’d ever happen, but cool to think about.

  3. I saw the oculus rift at gamescom, but the wait time was too f*cking long, just like the ps4.
At least I could see the machine and wasn’t hidden like the PS4 where you had to wait in line for hours to see the machine..

  4. I play COD on the Wii/Wii U with the remote and nunchuk. The more I see the Oculus Rift do the more I want to try running it on the Wii U playing Black Ops 2 or better yet Ghost. I can tell you I’m buying whatever I must to minus a gaming PC. I WANT THE OCULUS RIFT ON NINTENDO!!!!!!!!
