A Hat In Time Developer Working On Becoming A Licensed Nintendo Developer

a_hat_in_time

The developers behind the Banjo Kazooie and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker inspired A Hat In Time have revealed that they are currently working on becoming a licensed Nintendo developer. Gears for Breakfast say they are “currently in authorization at Nintendo to become a 3rd party developer,” adding that “the kind people at NoA are helping us through the process.” However, it should be noted that although A Hat In Time is expected to come to Wii U, the game hasn’t actually been confirmed.

  1. That’s great news! A Hat In Time is exactly the kind of game I retain my Nintendo loyalty in hopes of playing. I can’t see it on any other platform!

      1. no you got the wrong idea i was talking to everybody else because i found good news instead of sending in bad news….. whatever, more bad news in coming.

        1. So you sit in a Nintendo site, to supply bad news? lol. I thought Id stop through here to see if it was still a troll infested mess, aaaand it is. Congrats.

I thought it WAS coming to Wii U… didn’t it reach the Wii U stretch-goal on Kickstarter?

        1. There was no stretch goal for Wii U since they couldn’t confirm it would be coming based on just money, but they did say they were very interested in getting it to the Wii U because of all the inspiration from Nintendo games.

      3. That’s weird. I thought they’d become a licensed Nintendo developer months ago… I wonder whythey waited so long? 💋
