Hideki Kamiya Wants Original Bayonetta On Wii U

Hideki Kamiya, director of the original Bayonetta, wants the game to be released on the Wii U.  When asked about it, he said that while they really want to release the game for the platform, ultimately the decision is up to Nintendo. Platinum Games is currently developing Bayonetta 2 for the Wii U and no release date has been announced. As a Wii U owner, would you like to see the original Bayonetta released on the system as a lead up to Bayonetta 2’s launch?

“As I’ve told u before, we want to release Bayo1 for WiiU, but that’s what Ninty decides. So ask Ninty.” – Hideki Kamiya

      1. Ah, shut up. Mario Kart Wii also had leaderboards. It’s nothing special. And DLC is also possible. I don’t want extra costumes and shit, though. If they’re going to do DLC, they’ll have to do it right.

    I would love that
It’d give me a good chance to play the original it since my younger uncle is a prick with his Ps3 and wont let me borrow the damn thing.

  3. Hey DarkLink28, can you contact Sickr and tell him to change the mobile design of MNN? Please?, they are using the same ugly design that they used before, and not that sexy black/green of the main website.

  4. Oh please! I love Bayonetta! She is soooooo sexy and her game is awesome! :3 Plus I want a reason to throw out my 360. Wii U needs Bayonetta…and Minecraft while they are at it, because I use my 360 for that too..

  5. Nintendo and Sega should definitely release Bayonetta on the Wii U. Preferably early next year. It’d be a great game to tide us over until the release on Bayonetta 2, and it would give people who have never played the original the chance to play it and become immersed in the Bayo universe. All of which would make people more hyped and excited for the sequel AND bring another great game to the Wii U’s current somewhat lackluster library of games.

  6. This would make a lot of sense.
Why? When B2 releases next year or so, Wii U Nintendo fans now have a reason to buy the second one and knowing what to expect. I for one would love this!
