I hated that the world map is fully showed to you since the begining, and that the game always marks the next place to go, that kills exploration
They did the same thing in Link to the Past, but you aren’t required to go to those particular places immediately, you can explore within the confines of what your equipment allows. You could explore as much as you wanted in the light world, and the same will be true in this game. If you want to progress past certain story checkpoints, then you will have to go to those places marked. I don’t know why the whole map being shown is a bad thing, it’s almost the same map as LttP, so not too surprising really.
