Popular US video gaming retailer GameStop is currently selling the 32GB Wii U Deluxe System with Nintendo Land for $250. Unfortunately you won’t be able to purchase the system online as they are all sold out, but you may be able to find one at your local store. Let us know if you mange to find one for this price.

Pikmin, legends, tekken, wonderful 101, mario 3D world, WWHD, are all good. I’m looking forward to DK in feb my favorite platformer series. Mario kart 8 will most likely come around March. April…?Unknown May seems to fit bayonetta 2. SSB will most likely will be coming fall 2014. X…maybe summer or fall.
To me pikimin sucks, (never like the series when I played the first 2) not a teken fan (prefer SF) and W101 looks cool but not something I would get into. To me the only appealing titles are WWHD (which I own the original) and 3D world which is good but not enough to make me spend $300. But next year as I said will have some great content. Dk, X, STxFE, , mk8, maybe smash, bayonetta2, hyurule warriors!!! And more unannounced so ill be saving up for next year.
Yeah i hope so, 3D and WWHD are the only game i currently really want on the Wii U, but i passed 3D World already and I still own Wind Waker on my gamecube so im not spending $300 on it right now, but at $250, hell, i know its only $50 but it feels a lot more enticing at this price. Knowing reggie though, the price wont be dropping any time soon.
Yeah I agree, $250 is a PERFECT price for the Wii U and it will help boost sales and convince me to purchase one. alot of people I know won’t get one because of the following: price, and lack of must have 1st parties. Also I think if $250 helps boost sales by an extreme amount Reggie will keep the price at $250 which is a perfect price for the hardware you get. I also wouldn’t mind a NON gamepad version since that’s what’s really keeping the price at $300 and I find it unless (used it plenty of times and just dont like it)

Read this: Iwata learned of the problem after trying to play the Wii U with his family on Christmas. After learning from employees that the servers actually went down due to the high amounts of traffic, Iwata allegedly equated this with a “Christmas miracle.”
“He started crying,” recalled an employee who wishes to remain anonymous, “He thought that no one would actually buy a Wii U for Christmas let alone actually use it on Christmas day. That, he said, is proof that there is a God looking out for him.”
“After trying to calm him down for thirty minutes, he then asked if people were actually buying games too,” continued the employee, “I did not know off-hand whether or not people were, so I just said that they must have bought something to use the console with. Then he started crying again.”
We also spoke with Nintendo eShop director Kazuto Nakaya who was more than happy to talk with us.

Just paint it yourself or hire a person to do art work for you. It isn’t as much as you think. I know a guy near me who would do a wonderful spray paint artwork over the whole console for like $60.
I ordered a skin for mines. It is blue and black patterns. It was only $20. Amazon even gives you so many choices on beautiful designs. The gamepad matches and i got my Pro Cotroller too. I had it for 8 months and nothing is peeling off.
a backwards compatible console that can play like 1500 games half the price of its competitors and it stands out different than the other two because of the controller who would’ve thunked it.

I find the fact the eShop is, and has been down ALL day is not funny, however.
considering from i heard, other systems have also experienced this, i think it alright. besides, it not like its thursday. honesty ive not needed to use the eshop till tomorrow. honesty im just happysales are alright.
Steam is the only one that suffered as bad as Nintendo. The other systems did suffer, but were back on their feet without torching the entire day. And every sale, every Zelda 3DS bundle, every WiiU not updated resulted in a whole new crowd of people getting their first taste of disappointment.

seriously. i wanna know if its really nice for nintendo, who was originally aiming for a hardcore fanbase, got backstabed by their fans. the wiiu isnt getting support, so why would they have expected such a big server move? these servers are young, in their youth. hell, all systems newly maded experienced it. it happens, for the first time, and you say nintendo is under prepared? ithappens with all systems with masive join. obviously the wiiu has alot of people joing in. it takes time to fix. they will give the gamers whatthey wan, ONCE they know their actually on board.

Walmart had the same deal and I picked up a second wiiu for my daughter for xmas. Now I have one in parlor and her bedroom. Couldn’t beat the price and love the first one so why not.
Would be funny if the Wii U went all wii again… But i doubt that that would ever happen, and that it even reaches half of the Wii sales.
Anyway, it is a great console so I don’t care if it won’t sell awesome as long as I get my dose of Nintendo awesomeness. And off some good third party games because I refuse to buy a PS4 or One.
It’s going to be interesting to see the sales number for December for the Wii U . Last year the Wii U sold 1.7 million in December. It should be able to do at least that and a half this year.
Iwata shouldn’t be crying because he didn’t think anyone would buy a WIi U, hell I would get one if I didn’t already. People are realising the power in a console doesn’t mean anything. It’s all about the quality of the games – in which might I add 3D World is amazing!
