Tilmen from Nintendomination has managed to capture some footage of the long-awaited Bayonetta 2 at a recent event in Frankfurt. He has captured the footage at 60 fps and to watch it you’ll need to select the option for 2 times speed. Tilmen says that if you don´t have that feature in your browser, change your Youtube settings from “Flash” into “HTML5”. Enjoy.

I didn’t like the gameplay of it. Loved the story, humor and cutscenes. But it would have been better as an anime then a game. When I was playing I was just like uhg get on with the story I want to find out what happens next.

The only complaint with the Wonderful 101 was the controls and I can assure you that Bayonetta 2 will not have the same controls as Wonderful 101.
it’s more action base than 101, but because you can do straight out combos and the camera isn’t zoomed out to feature 100+ characters it works a whole bunch better

I tend to think that this game will be one of those games that 1 year after release will be 5$ in some walmart’s bucket.
Because the first game didn’t sell well. So the second one wont sell well too. And WiiU has too little core audience for this game.
And after watching many videos it feels like this game is mindless button smashing type of game.
And it doesn’t really show any special WiiU power. Just an overclocked ps360.

Well if everyone has your attitude it won’t! Stop saying bad stuff and get excited like me! Go buy this game, because it will be amazing! It’s NOT just a button smashing kind of game. It has very in depth controls if you really want to get into it. Plus the story is way more interesting than most other video games. If you are looking for innovation then this is the game. It is filled with crazy new stuff like guns on your feet, fighting with your hair, large scale attacks (not just in Climax either), constant gravity changes, boss fights that occur one after the other (in the story mode). Plus it has a female protagonist and it might not be innovative, but it certainly is rare and exciting and the character designs are fantastic… probably better than Shin Megami Tensei’s (and Shin Megami has some incredible character designs).
I’ll buy it and I’m sure some others will, but it’s widely known that second and third party games on the Wii U don’t do well. The majority of Wii U owners don’t want to step up and step outside of their comfort zone it seems.
Agreed, if you call this a button masher then you probably thought the last 3 Ninja Gaidens were as well like most of my friends who said if it was hard for me it would be easy for them(I am 35 and they were teenage kids of some of my friends), I told them I would give them $50 dollars to beat the first 5 random enemies. Needless to say, after literally over 30 failed attempts they gave up and I did it in 1 try, of course they then tried to challenge me in Halo :-P I refused since I hate FPS’s and wished to quit while I was ahead lol. So what may seem like button mashing in video isn’t always the case in actual gameplay, as some cocky teenagers now know as well first hand :)

If they announce Bayonetta as a character in Smash Bros I would quite possibly die from excitement.
I know they don’t want too many third party characters there (and they’ve already got Sonic and Megaman) and they want characters that have had a history on Nintendo platforms, but if by some miracle she is added to the roster, then I would be looking forward to Smash Bros more than Bayonetta 2.

Ways to market bayonetta 2. Put her in smash brothers. I don’t usually think new characters like shouldn’t be in but her game needs lots of attention. advertse in gaming magazines, review sites, youtube, comdey central, MTV( though anyone with a brain wouldn’t watch that) SIFI, adult swim and toonami. Lots bayonetta fans are aware of the game they just need to push the marketing to get more people.

Super excited about this game. I couldn’t be any more hype for it after beating the Wonderful 101 today.
It just bought Wonderful 101 for $30 and I haven’t opened it yet! Can’t wait to play it. The game is made by Platinum… I can’t possibly be any less than superb.
Man are you in for a treat! It reminds me of when I first got my Wii and was playing Red Steel. It took a while for me to get used to the controls and how it played but once I did then the game became awesome for me. Wonderful 101 is the same way, once I upgraded and customized my skill set to where it was comfortable for me then I was addicted to the game. I played for 7 hours straight for three days just to finish it. The game is really hilarious too but it also has a good story which surprised me.
