The rewards for Club Nintendo members in North America are now live. All four games that are listed below will be available via Club Nintendo until February the 9th. Which games will you choose?

- Spin Six (DSiWare for 3DS) – 150 coins
- F-Zero (Wii U Virtual Console) – 200 coins
- 1080° Snowboarding (Wii U/Wii Virtual Console) – 200 coins

1.) it was supposed to be available on the 13th … they bump it (not the first time) 1 more day.
2.) they’re offering another game they sold for 10 cents to day-1 WiiU owners … so, being a WiiU owner, why am i being punished being offered games i already purchased?
3.) why are they presenting Wii-Mode games as WiiU games? … there is a huge difference.
I know! Give me free Wii U games damnit! Earthbound remake should be up there. Maybe they should also make those 3DS minigames prizes as well, because I haven’t bought them either and have no plan to unless they are free.
yes…. about 1080 Snowboarding, it´s an awesome game, actually, but it´s not really for the WiiU, but for the Wii and a classic controller is required. Too bad. I though that it would be the first N64 game for WiiU virtual console.

Actually, when you go through the purchase page, it says the game is for Wii U only and will not work on the Wii. Haven’t tried it out yet as I want to wait until the coins will go toward the new Platinum year.
Your coins added this year count for this years platinum wether you spent them or not so spent away.The only way to save up for next year is to not redeem your game slips until the next year starts up, as old coins from last year don’t count for the next years platinum.
That is what I am doing. I am saving up my slips until July. I already hit platinum this year. I get that coins being spent doesn’t affect the current platinum year. If you input codes now or use VC stuff, you have a time limit on when you can complete the surveys.

Yep, typo…. ;( Not that 1080 was particularly interesting, but the prospect of N64 games on the WiiU was exciting.
Last month they began calling Wii game rewards “Wii U”. When I selected the reward (SMB2:LL) and received a code for my Club Nintendo coins I could still only redeem it through the Wii Shop Channel. Not the eShop. Those games can only be played in “Wii mode”.
Also I guess it’s worth mentioning (though probably obvious) that you don’t need to own a Wii U for those games. A regular Wii is fine.
Damnit!, the front page shows it for the Wii U and then the actual game page states Wii, which then can be accessed with your Wii U, misleading….

maybe some day “1080° Snowboarding” will come out for WiiU … fingers crossed people! … nintendo will one day make the leap to WiiU gaming :)
I read “F-Zero” (Wii U)” and got excited, then I saw “Virtual Console” afterwards and got upset. Nintendo, if you care about your older fans who’ve been with you since the SNES/N64 eras, you WILL stop milking Mario and Zelda and you WILL release a new F-Zero instead of just constantly putting up the 20-year-old original on a digital store.
I still have the original snes cart so I have no need to buy this. I agree with F-Zero U. It needs to happen.

Nintendo isn’t milking squat? We got 2 New Super Mario Bros. games literally a month apart, a Mario Party game that is so easy that the difficulty comes in not falling asleep playing it, and Mario 3D World that looks no different than 3D Land on the 3DS, which I found boring within minutes because it offered nothing new. Zelda I guess isn’t being milked, but it and Mario are the only two series Nintendo seems to care about anymore and it saddens us players who love their other franchises like F-Zero, Star Fox, and Metroid that have been neglected for too long (no, I don’t count the abomination that is Other M).
Also, I’ve been following this site since the days of Mario Kart 7- I’m not new here. Sure, I misread something, but I’m not new here.
No offense but, just look how many times you’ve said Mario. Definitely seems milked to me. I know he’s the mascot and all, but c’mon. Give the guy some rest. Every other game we hear about is Mario these days…

Sorry if you own the original, but I never did and captain falcon is a prime Nintendo character, and we get to play his original adventure!
Also the price is good. 100 coins for a 1.99$ game, while f zero is 200 coins for an 8$ game. I can see how 3ds owners got screwed, but for nintenerds and wii u owners, this is more then I expected, and I’m fairly excited :D

Nintendo should give us a bunch of free stuff… At least to those who bought the Wii U at launch. We got $.30 games that were fun for the first 5 seconds you played them… and Nintendoland. THATS what we got for the first year of the consoles release.
3DS got an ambassador’s program! OF COURSE I don’t buy the 3DS at launch and miss out on that, but when I support the Wii U I get screwed!

Nintendo didnt force you to buy anything, you early adopted on youre own. Ambassador? Big whoop, I bought the 3DS at launch and yes I was mad after the price drop, but Nintendo didnt owe me anything. Be happy that they still put out quality games and stop acting like youre entitled to anything and everything just because you adopted early.
I’d say these rewards are pretty lackluster. Considering that FZERO was the one of the first Wii Virtual Console games. Many Wii owners bought it as a result. FZERO was also one of the .30 cent games for Wii U. So if you’re a Wii U owner you probably already have it and if you don’t, you probably have the Wii version of this game in which case you can get the game for 1.50 anyway on the Wii U. The odds of you being a person who wants this game for the Wii U and you can’t get it for 1.50 is so low it’s probably 0. This is a waste of Club Nintendo coins.

A bunch of fucking whiners on this site. It’s a rewards program, a basic one. These games are free, and for those unfortunates that can’t always afford to buy their favorite games at a cheap price, getting it for free is awesome.

Part of the incentive to buy a Nintendo game is knowing you can get added awards by registering them on Club Nintendo. If Nintendo isn’t actually going to provide us with worthy prizes, then they should stop marketing Club Nintendo… it’s practically a scam.
Especially because sometimes I only buy a game so I can get more coins, but seeing as I don’t spend them (because they offer us crap) I just won’t buy many more Nintendo games…

Nothing I want to buy…. yet again. My coins keep stacking up. Then of course the one thing I DO want (the 3DS XL charge) is sold out in seconds because everyone is waiting for something GOOD to come along. Then Nintendo has the nerve to not put it back up!

i just downloaded the f-zero game using the code on the eshop!!! goto your profile on the eshop/ select the enter code button and type that shiet in!! boOM! ;)
