  1. I feel like the only guy not at all interensted in the 3DS. A 2DS with two circle pads would get my money though.

      1. Except its not, I love my vita but its far from what Sony sold us on. All 3rd party games are either indies, ports, or RPG’s (im not complaining since its all stuff ive never played) but they all dont feel like the home console experience, asides from the ports.

Vita is still great but the 3DS is just killing it in terms of software.

    1. Agreed…

We all thought we would get a new one in late January but nothing…

I’m starving because of no new orders from High Command…

      1. It’s not going to be a Mario Kart of the system, but it will move some units. Heck, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D actually moved some 3DS’s and that was a remake.

      2. Zelda U cannot be presented just like hat though…

        Same goes for Metroid…

      3. It is…

The Retro Facility is not the only one that can make a Metroid game…

      4. The question is, would it be smart to announce anything about the next Metroid before E3?
The problem being that E3 is still a long time away…
Though if we get all the way through E3 without a metroid announcement, I will be genuinely saddened.

      5. E3 should be the only place…

Unless they execute their program about spreading information about our empire to Smartphones as well…

Then they can create hype for it until a ND or something…

but if no Metroid is revealed in some way I will be disappointed…

    2. You can quote me on this but DKCTF will definitely improve hardware sales over there especially if Nintendo considers making bundles for it for a limited time. And yeah I agree it should be a Direct coming real soon to explain other features about the game that we don’t know about and to give us specific release dates on upcoming games for this year and also explain their 3rd party situation

  2. Cool.

I am really hoping that we get a Nintendo Direct either this week or next week. Nintendo has been sulking in the dark long enough since last year.

It’s time the emerge and speak directly to their fans (and confirm the next newcomming Smash Bros character hehehe…).

  3. What would Kratos say about Nintendo now? “By the name of the gods, what has Nintendo become…?”

  4. The Wii U dropped again! No worries, just wait until *insert Nintendo game* comes out along with Smash Bros, DK, and Mario Kart! That ought to show em

  5. LOL Wii U is so dead in Japan!!!!
DKTF will not do anything either, Nintendo were screwed when Super Mario 3D W world failed to save the Wii U and was NOT the huge system seller that Nintendo hoped it would be.
NOTHING will save the Wii U, Mario kart is just the same as the 3DS game except you can now go upside down.
Smash Bros is going tho the 3DS as well and easily be more popular on the handheld.
And that leaves X and Zelda…..Wow 2 good games in 2 years!!
    LOL

  6. “Just wait till MK8, guys! And Smash! And the next Zelda which doesn’t have a release date but when it comes, it’ll save the Wii U!”

    lol.

    1. LOL it is to little to late for Nintendo and the Wii U!!
Instead of focusing on releasing all their games new and old on the Wii U Nintendo’s big Iwata drivel statement to save the Nintendo was the Quality Of Life Health bullcrap?LMFAO!!!

  7. HAHAHAHAHAHA! Now that Christmas is over the Baby U is back to it’s pathetic pre Christmas sales. The precious little babies got their toy console for Christmas and now that Christmas is gone it’s back to it’s pre Christmas mediocre sales. Now babies are saying Donkey Kong Baby U is going to save the underpowered running on 7 year old hardware baby toy console.(Donkey Kong, the baby 2D side scrolling game that has huge loading times and runs at 720p, a 2D game straight out of the 90’s running at 720p on the underpowered can’t do any better baby toy console! lolololol). It the same song they been singing for months. Babies said that when The Wonderful 101 would release things would improve, nope, nothing. Babies said that when Pikmin 3 would release it would save their Baby U, nope nothing. Babies said that when Zelda Windwaker would release it would be the savior of their Baby U niche toy console, nope nothing. The truth of the matter only babies are interested in the Baby U. Look at them asking for more baby games lolololololol!!! No wonder Ubisoft most likely will never release Watch_Dogs on the baby Wii U, it probably would only sell like 5 copies, and to get an online game going all those 5 would have to get online at the same time lololol. The 5 who bought a Wii U thinking that the Baby U is “hardcore” lolololol!
HAHAHAHA. 7K units. That’s even worse than it’s pre Christmas sales HAHAHAHHA!

    1. The only baby here with terrible grammar, terrible sense, and an ignorant mind, and acting like a child laughing at others is U!

    2. Sorry to burst your teletubbie Mr.Baby but the Wii U sales Pre-Christmas were even worse…

On average it sold a maximum of 3K per month so you’re wrong…

    3. Why are you punkass ponies are on a Nintendo fan site just to troll? You guys may have to rely on Nintendo and Microsoft for your gaming needs since Sony is on pace to go belly up in the next 2 or 3 years…LMFAO!!!

  8. “Nintendo 3DS sales continue to slow down in Japan with the handheld still selling 48K.”

So what? Really? Slow down and it’s #1 in the list?

So, even for Sickr, the 3DS being #1 in Japan is “slowing down” and bad news, HAHAHA! XD

This site is just a troll site. Sad!

  9. I just find it funny these trolls post these hateful and childish lololololol comments about the Wii U, but they can’t do that with the 3DS BECAUSE IT’S FUCKING NUMBER 1 IN THE FUCKING LIST!

So, yeah, maybe Nintendo’s console isn’t doing great, but its handheld is #1, so, who cares?

The problem is that every week I see a new 3DS game hitting Japan, AND NOT A FUCKING SINGLE WII U GAME!

Nintendo needs to stop releasing consoles with no games, maybe they had to stay with the Wii and release the Wii U until 2014 when they had a big library of games ready. Seriously, they don’t like making console games, I don’t know why they don’t focus on the Wii U, it’s the one that needs help!

    1. I seriously think they don’t know what they are doing anymore with the Wii U…

Lord Iwata said how to solve everything except the Wii U…

I really hope Mario Kart 8 sells a lot, because if it doesn’t then it’s 100% secured that the Wii U is doomed…

    2. Who cares? Everyone should care. Even Sony came out and said that Nintendo doing poorly hurts the industry overall and that they hope Nintendo starts doing better. The 3DS alone isn’t enough right now. If Nintendo were strictly a company that focused on handhelds, there wouldn’t be an issue….but that is not the case.

      1. LOL.Last year Nintendo released awesome 3DS game after awesome 3DS for the whole year and released crap after crap epic fail Wii U games.
Nintendo’s focus right from the go should have been with the Wii U and it was not meaning even Nintendo did not know what to do with it, the 3DS has ZERO competition so Nintendo kept releasing awesome game after game when it did not even need them and was the Wii U that needed all the awesome games?
In over 14 months Nintendo have still failed to release a game that was truly made for the Gamepad and shown people how it makes gaming so much better just like they did from the word go with the Wii Mote!!
Nintendo did nothing and thought 3rd party would try!!LOL
DKTF,Mario Kart and Smash will not save the Wii U.
The price is still way to high and for 7 year old tech is a disgrace!!
The Wii u needs to be $200 with a game to entice gamers with it being at $300 for an extra $100 consumers can buy a next gen PS4 with 500gb and a blu ray player which compared to the Wii U is a bargain!!

  10. I’ve just sold the Wii U, I was fed up with this crap Nintendo!!!
I was the biggest fan, but now I thought this was the last of Nintendo!
Watch Dogs is the last straw!
    Going to Sony!

      1. People can be fans and then not be fans. Hurrrrrrrrrr. Being a fan doesn’t almost mean you should be blindly devoted to something.
I’m sure there was one guy on the Titanic who thought it could never sink even as the water was rushing in, too.

      1. It’s Nintendo’s responsibility to sell the consoles. If there isn’t a large enough userbase, why bother releasing a 3rd party game?

      2. Consoles or not, they had their chance with Rayman Legends and they still screwed our people over…

And now the Wii U version of Watch Dogs took the last straw because they don’t advertise as much as other versions…

      3. Ubi-Soft started out as being one of the WiiU’s strongest 3rd party supporters…but when WiiU accounts for only 2% of their overall sales, what would YOU do? I fail to see how they screwed people over with Legends when the game still was released on the Wii U. The fact that it was changed to multiplatform was due to the shitpoor sales of ZombiU, a decent game that actually took advantage of the GamePad screen but (SHOCKING) didn’t sell well enough.

      4. Most didn’t mind the multiplatform issue, it was that they delayed the game by seven months for absolutely no valid reason whatsoever!

Considering all I’ve heard about ZombiU, many complained that it was too buggy, too easy if you just went with the bat or something and that it didn’t look great “graphics wise”…

So no wonder people would be out of by these reviews…

And then even if our empire don’t advertise the Wii U that much, there is no excuse to why you gimp the game for the Wii U only and not for all the others…

        Splinter Cell to name one…

I’d give them the effort for ZombiU but there is no reason to expect other games to sell just as bad just because they couldn’t deliver a game without problems…

And now with Watch Dogs, delayed and basically confirmed that they haven’t done anything special with the Gamepad concerning how obvious the opportunity was…

I was so hyped for this game until I heard that…

      5. The reason it is “gimped” is because developers need to put more time and effort into the gamepad. It’s the same reason a lot of games look like shit on the Wii, because “HEY, MOTION CONTROLS. EVERYTHING ELSE DOESN’T MATTER AS MUCH.”
And most of the reviews for ZombiU are favorable and the graphics for the game are actually pretty decent for the system, so I’m not sure what you’re reading about the game….
In regards to the delay for Legends:
        http://www.joystiq.com/2013/06/19/ubisoft-admits-wii-u-sales-drove-rayman-legends-delay/

They were actually hoping Nintendo would get their act together and sell more consoles so that when they did release Legends, it would actually, you know….sell.

And again – when the userbase isn’t there, and you have to put in extra time and money to develop for a specific and new style of gameplay, why would you focus on that instead of developing for a console that will actually sell the game?

      6. Well then that’s why they should make something unique with their games on the Wii U and create a hype around it…

I admit though that Lord Iwata and the rest of High Command needs badly to assist these people with these games more…

But if it really takes somewhat longer to make a great game using the Gamepad, then it would be better if they announced that in the beginning, that the Wii U version would take a bit longer to be released because they are making unique things with it…

It would certainly create a special feeling about the Wii U versions from gamers as well…

But Rayman Legends was delayed once before too so it’s not really an excuse…

As far as I remember, it was supposed to be released pretty close to the launch date…

Or maybe I’m confusing that particular memory with Rayman Origins…

  11. 7k is a DISGRACE!!
The Wii was sold out for its first 2 years on the market.
The Wii launched with a free game Wii Sports and also had Twilight Princess from day one, EVERYTHING was spot on with the Wii launch!!
To go from perfect Wii launch to worst company launch ever with the Wii U really is mind boggling!
The fact that Nintendo brag they did not realize how long it took to make HD games is pathetic when NSMB U was HD and a LAUNCH GAME!!
Nintendo NEVER should have released a year early which they did to get ahead start on the next gen which back fired so badly that it was hilarious!!
Nintendo treated its fans and gamers so badly with the Wii U I mean $60 for 10 year old Windwaker port but just in HD?Like WTF!!
The Wii U launch could have been spectacular if they had waited another 12 months, they could have launched with Mario, Zelda,101,Pikmin 3 etc and got a huge install base.
They are very lucky as if it was not for the huge 3DS success Nintendo would be the new Sega!!

  12. I can’t believe that the japanese is just as brain-dead as North America and Europe as far as the Wii U goes. What’s wrong with everyone? BUY A FREAKIN’ WII U!

  13. In the hardware sales department, 3DS sales only increased that week; all others declined in sales.

Today, I read the Dengeki Top 50 video game titles for that very same week to see more new games there, but I found only one new such release.

Meanwhile, Pokemon X and Y are still going strong.
