    1. I’ve read they are having trouble with GBA games on the 3DS. Apparently the 3DS is not powerful enough to run GBA games in the VC standard (meaning you can’t suspend the games like you can with other VC games). Ambassador GBA games work just like DS games on the 3DS (if you push HOME it doesn’t suspend the game, instead it asks if you want to close).

I don’t think releasing mobile games on the WiiU is a good move, and everybody would be much more happy to get GC on Virtual Console.
Also, there are still hundreds of fantastic SNES games that need to come out on WiiU VC as well (so we can play them on the gamepad, instead of being stuck to Wii Mode on the TV)… Nintendo sure is taking its time releasing their back catalog for the WiiU… :(

      1. Well if they release them all at once. People will only cherry pick just a few and ignore everything else. While doing it slowly will get people to check them all out if they have time as they wait for their favorites to be released

    1. Because… There are no normal games coming until Mario Kart 8… And this is coming from a fan that realises that the Wii U needs those game really quick.

And it might be the fact that the Wii made me a gamer but I’m already kinds bored with Nintendo games… I mean, the New Super Mario Bros series is stupid and I only have two games, the Mario 3D series isn’t as fun as Mario Galaxy and Donkey Kong tropical freeze is a good game but the loading screen stuttering is just aweful… It kinda takes down the quality feel the rest of the game has. Also, they should have made their own freaking hard drive and not just say here use anyone because I spent €100 on a hard drive that errors because the USB ports on the Wii U don’t give it enough power. I know they recommended using one that plugs into the wall but good luck finding that in days like these because every other device can give those kind of drives enough power…

They made some big mistakes with the Wii U and sometimes I do feel like I bought it to early, but I also had allot of fun on it.

      1. Exactly. I can’t seem to realize how people even let Nintendo slide with this stuff. GBA games on Wii U. Great. Now I can play decade old games on my TV. Yay. How about we get more third party? Or maybe an integrated account system? Hm? Seriously..

  2. Its gonna be kinda cool.to play gameboy games on the TV again. I used to do that with Pokemon and it was AWESOME

  3. Just found out on Nintendo Life.com that the GBA prices for Europe

    UK £6.29

    EU €7.99

U can check it out for yourself if u don’t believe me.

I’m on my iPhone so I can’t post a link but I’m getting a laptop soon so that will change.

Also I’m in America so this doesn’t matter to me.

  6. While I’m happy to hear this news, they’re basically releasing the ambassador games along with a few extras. I’m not complaining but I hope they release more in a steady stream, and throw pokemon and DK sonewhere in there and maybe even those exclusive japan-only titles.

  7. If you buy a Nintendo system and your not a fan of retro gaming or the Nintendo-verse…

Your gonna have a bad time.
