US Club Nintendo Issuing Tomodachi Life Demos To Select Platinum Members

tomodachi_life_demoNintendo has begun issuing a number of Tomodachi Life demo codes to select US Club Nintendo members. According to a number of emails received by members of  the fan service, the publisher is rewarding certain platinum members with a unique download code to a demo for the life simulation game. Those who have purchased Animal Crossing: New Leaf and registered it to their Club Nintendo account are more likely to receive the demo code, given their purchase history.

If you’re lucky enough to receive a demo code, you can transfer the Miis you create to the full game when it releases on June 6, plus you’ll even get a special in-game bonus item on purchase. Hopefully a demo will arrive for European members in the future. Let us know if you’ve received a download demo code in the comments below.

  1. I don’t really care at this point, Mario Kart 8, Tomodachi life, then exams and then E3. Other than exams, exciting weeks!

    1. I always wait until after your current status (gold-platinum) gets “redeemed” every year to redeem my club Nintendo codes so I can get platinum already for the next year lol

    2. I don’t think I will especially if the game is going to promote gays and lesbos to our children. IF that does happen I guess I’ll be kissing 30 years of Nintendo away cuz I won’t buy another thing from them

      1. Really? Grow up.
If someone is interested in the same gender. Let them be. Live and let live you ignorant southern American!

        1. Whoa whoa whoa just because she’s a homophobe doesn’t mean she’s a southern American that reply has a sly remark of racism itself

  2. Platinum, AC owner. No dice here. I wasn’t going to get the game – I will say, a demo MAY have swayed me… So this is a sign. No for me.

    1. Would you mind giving it to me if you don’t want it. I’ve been wanting to play this game since it came our like a year ago in Japan….

    1. Can I have it if you don’t want it? I have been wanting to pay this game since it came out like a year ago.

  3. got a download code. did it last night but I think the game was awful. bad graphics. all I did was buy a steak and eat it.

if you want a good hand held life simulator Animal Crossing is the way to go.

  4. I got a code last night. My girlfriend and I played around with it for about an hour (most of that time was her creating new Miis) It’s a really weird game and I can’t wait to play the full game here in a few weeks.

        1. Yea seems like everyone who doesn’t care for tomadachi life is getting the codes I play AC and am platinum but no code for me

        1. Yes and then a Platinum Class 64, a Platinum Classcube, WiiPlatinum Class, and finally a Platinum Class U that just barely manages to have any people reach that status lol.

  5. I received the demo and played it last night. it is a really weird experience, but one i want more of. it’s convinced me i will be buying!

  7. Does this deal apply to Canadian Club Nintendo users? I’m at Platinum Status with 980 coins, and I even redeemed Animal Crossing: New Leaf along with a ton of others.
