Japanese publication CoroCoro has revealed a trio of new Mega Evolutions for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. According to recent scans of the magazine, Mega Gallade, Mega Sharpedo, and Mega Camerupt are the newly unveiled Mega Pokemon following last month’s announcement for stat-boosting versions of Slowbro and Audino.
Translations from Serebii have confirmed that Mega Sharpedo will arrive with the ability Strong Jaw, along with an increase across all Pokemon stats. On the other hand, Mega Camerupt will own the ability Sheer Force on transformation, while its speed takes a hit and decreases – possibly due to storing up all that extra energy – but all other stats are buffed up.
Aside from the three Mega reveals, additional information has been provided for the legendary Pokemon within the two remakes. New abilities have been announced for both Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon – the former will come with the “Sea of Beginnings” ability which initiates Strong Rain, while the latter arrives with the “Land of Endings” and activates Strong Sunlight in battle. Primal Groudon also appears to sport a new move named Cliff’s Blade.

Now its got a different way to be used. More variety.
Mega Sharpedo can’t have speed boost. In this case, it will change Sharpedo gameplay then, and add more variety to a Sharpedo’s play style.

I never cared for Groudon and Kyogre before but their new forms make them so sick. They finally seem like the beast they should have been in the beginning. I love it and I’m way too excited to pick up Omega Ruby.
Maxie and Archie now have a use for the stones on them. Maxie’s glasses have the stone, and Archie’s necklace has one, too.
hate mega evos, but I do like gallade. so yeah.
Mega Gallade is Wally’s ace, so his Ralts os apparently now going to be a male and evolve into Gallade, I’ll miss his Gardevoir but giving him a Gallade makes sense since Diantha’s ace is Gardevoir.
Mega Sharpedo and Mega Camerupt are probably the aces of Archie and Maxie.
Well the reveal of a Mega Gallade just proves that alternate ends of an evolutionary chain can get mega evolutions. So a Mega Sloking is a possibility one day. Not to mention mega evolutions for each Eeveelution! Yes! Yes! Yes! Of course, I hope Eevee itself will get it’s very own mega evolution. Of course, I won’t hold my breathe for a Mega Eevee… unless a Mega Pikachu is ever revealed.

If Eevee EVER gets a mega evolution, I’ll never take her off of my main team.
You do realize Eevee can still evolve, so if it ever happens to actually like you, it’ll evolve into Espeon and Umbreon. Plus, Mega Eeveelutions would be a waste of time.
