Nintendo Direct Coming Wednesday, November 5

Nintendo has announced that a new Nintendo Direct will be coming on Wednesday, November 5. The Direct will cover and provide updates for upcoming Wii U and 3DS games, so we’re likely to hear more on Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, as well as new information on Amiibo and what games they are compatible with. Nintendo of Japan has confirmed the Direct will cover games up until Spring 2015. You can watch the feed on the official Nintendo website here, or via a designated YouTube stream at 2pm (PT) or 5pm (ET) in the US, 10pm (BST) in the UK, 11pm (CET) for Europe, and 7am (Nov. 6) for Japan.

The way the gif loops is really confusing, He’s beating him up, then all of a sudden he gets really happy and they’re friends, but then things go sour again.

    1. Well they need to be able to reach the most potential Nintendo gamers… and that means Europeans get the worst time, because even if they got the best time, the numbers that a European Direct can’t compare to the numbers of a direct during the best time in the United States.

      1. I hope they talk about QOL devision, as well as new games, DLC, amiibo (like more into what they well do) and some news about the new 3DS Coming to north America (at least a month? Season?)
And ma y be some updates on their mobile device support (apps, games, services)
Also some “new 3DS games would be nice to hear about (other then xenoblade)

Ah… Military time. (._.) I wish I could change my 3DS clock to the 12-hour variant that I’m used to. I hate having to check my phone whenever I want to know the time ヘ(´-`;)ヘ

          1. I’d kind of be ok if they didn’t anounce any new games for 3DS, and just focused on new 3DS. I mean stupid iPad gets a new version every year and 70% of developers focus on the latest version. Mean while the 3DS has bin out for 4 years? I’m ok if Nintendo focuses on the newer system, 3rd party devs well still support the system (their still making original Wii games)

  1. Smash info based on explain some other features further(Duck Hunt Duo trailer???)
Mario Kart 8 DLC release date and info
    Hyrule Warriors DLC info
    Pokemon OR/AS info
    Captain Toad treasure tracker info
Info on some games that they annouced at E3 (Splatoon and maybe Zelda???)
Any other ideas and thoughts on my ideas???

      1. Cooler would be: “The DLC is downloading to your Wii U right now.” And we would also turn heads to see a orange light burning above the power button and realising our life’s are getting a bit more complete.

      2. Doubt it, they usually update the store on Thursdays so its more likely that they say ‘The DLC is coming tommorow’ you know, on the Thursday.

    1. I actually mentioned the Mario Kart 8 DLC in the comment above yours.
I hope the release date will be a bit before Smash Bros Wii U releases…

  2. Did anyone read this it says it will cover up to spring 2015 that means no star fox xenoblade zelda u or any of that

  3. Oh god I hope they’ll announce the long waited GameCube and N64 VC launches as well as a new Wii U update with new features and announce a new Metroid game that’s isn’t another Other M.

  4. Give me a date for the MK8 DLC (ideally it will release this week!) and some more Splatoon and I’ll be happy. The first is very likely but the second is perhaps hopeful!

  5. Sweet. Hopefully we can get an update on the Gamecube Virtual Console and Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem and get more info on games like Devil’s Third, Splatoon, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Yoshi’s Wooly World, the new Starfox and the new Zelda. A couple of hidden surprises like newly announced games and a huge firmware update for the Wii U (like improvements for Nintendo Network and maybe dual Gamepad support) would be very awesome

Give me Metroid. Pleaaase. If not a teaser, just an announcement. I don’t want to be disappointed by another great Donkey Kong game.

  7. Please, NO MORE FREAKIN’ POKEMON NEWS! They’ll probably waste the entire Direct talking about it. And it’s just a darn remake.

I never seem to care about watching these Directs live. I just come here to find out what happened afterwards.

  9. The nintendo directs have been really sparse this year. They really need to announce something big and new. No more freaking smash. The wii u updates have devolved Into the smash brothers show way too much this year….

    1. Yeah, I hate when Nintendo wastes an entire Nintendo Direct talking about a game that’s only a couple weeks away from being released. And I can almost guarantee that this Direct will be no different.

  10. Here’s what’s goanna happen:
    More project steam info
    some devils third update news
Super smash kart DLC for mk8
    more OR and AS news
Wii U VC with N64 and Gamecube titles, Game cube launch titles to be: Prime, Sunshine, Mario party 5, Super smash melee( $5 off super smash bros if purchased before release) and F-zero GX
Majoras mask 3ds ( I CAN DREAM GOD DAMN IT)
    Some splatoon
    And at the end…

  11. lord ghost : king of the federation

i stop caring for directs after the november 2013. it just spoilers and useless announcements.

  12. What I’m expecting is:

    Splatoon new info and trailer
    Pokemon OR/AS trailer+info
    Mario Maker gameplay+release date
    Yoshi’s Woolly World trailer+release date
    Monster Hunter 4 trailer
Maybe some new info on games coming later in 2015
