Yup, we’ve finally got footage of the first twenty-seven minutes of Pokemon Omega Ruby on the Nintendo 3DS. Obviously those that don’t want to spoil the experience may want to look away now, but if you’re on the fence about purchasing it then be sure to take a look. Pokemon Omega Ruby currently has a Metascore of 83 on Metacritic and is due to be released in the United States on Friday.

I originally wanted this game very badly…but I am sick of paying $40 for what always turns out to be almost the same exact game. And the Eon Ticket BS isn’t doing it for me either. Now that they’ve made the transition to 3D I don’t expect any compelling new Pokemon games to come out for a while.
I bought X and haven’t even played it other than updloading a few of of level 100 pokemon over once lol and getting like a shiny gengar and such from gamestop. I overdid pokemon a few years back, went through emerald, heart gold, white, a little of leaf green, and platinum one after in other to get almost all the pokemon at the time (I have like 618, and a lot still need to evolve for the others I need) but yea after that rush, I just haven’t been able to get back in it lol. Not even the new graphics and training systems were enough. If they made the console version that everyone asks for I would probably jump on that though lol. (And Pokken Tournament doesn’t count).
I would jump on a console-version Pokemon game so quickly. I don’t even like Pokemon! It’s just fun for me to be an pro trainer. I am all about EV, IV breeding. Min/Maxing period is my thing…but they need to balance the Pokemon out. Why did they give Garchomp a mega evolution? He’s arguably the strongest Pokemon in the game! They should be giving megas to the less fortunate Pokemon (stat-wise).
GameFreak/Nintendo broke my heart when they said we’d have to rely on exchanging date with other people to obtain an Eon Ticket. Why would they lock the coolest feature of the game behind an awful feature such as that! :'(
Haha you don’t like pokemon but you know a good amount about it :p The IV training I attempted once but it seemed SOOOO tedious I just gave up lol. Honestly for all the work I would out in I would hardly use them. And yea Garchomp is pretty nice with his speed and strength. I’m not sure what the eon ticket is to be honest, but that definitely sucks you have to rely on an exchange date. I’d type more but I was up to 6:30 playing smash lol and had to get up at 10:15 (about an hour ago) and I only got 4 hours of sleep the night smash released so I’m kinda out of it lol.
I almost completely skipped X & Y myself. But I gave in & bought them… and I haven’t looked back since. I just hope Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire can help me complete my collection. Cursed event only Pokemon! Grr!
haha yea the events are a pain! I had like 618 or 619 at the end of X, so close lol. But I just can’t get excited anymore sadly about it :( which event pokemon areyou missing?
The only ones I can name off the top of my head right now are Deoxys, Shaymin, Darkrai, & Arceus. I’m too lazy to check with Pokemon Bank to see which ones I’m missing exactly. lol
I might appreciate this game more than most cause I played,and loved,ruby and emerald when I was a kid. Those were 2 of the best games I have ever played!

I found hours of gameplay on it by gian and tyranitartube on youtube. The game looks great and I can’t wait for some battle frontier DLC that is said to be releasing sometime by a reviewer.
