Turn-Based Strategy Game Space Hulk Launches On Wii U eShop In 2015

Danish developer Full Control together with Games Workshop are set to launch the turn-based strategy game Space Hulk for Wii U next year. The digital version of the popular tabletop board game from Games Workshop arrived on PC last year garnering some success – now it’s targeting consoles, including the Wii U for a 2015 arrival.

Published by HR Games, Space Hulk is set within the Warhammer 40,000 universe and recreates the “classic claustrophobic board game experience” in both single player and multiplayer campaigns, where players must lead a team of Space Marine Terminators in a fight against the alien group, Genestealers. The tactical game will also feature 12 missions in single player mode, along with a robust selection of missions for co-operative campaigns.

Space Hulk is set in the isolated corridors and tomb-like chambers of an ancient vessel lost in the graveyard of space. Players lead a small army of fearless Space Marine Terminators to battle in a ferocious fight for survival against hordes of predatory alien Genestealers. Based on the “Sin of Damnation” campaign from the 3rd edition board game, Space Hulk includes a robust 12 mission single-player campaign, a co-operative campaign, Blood Angel and Space Wolf Chapters and many other thrilling missions! Recreating the tense battles of the board game, multiplayer mode will allow players to go head-to-head as one player controls the Space Marines and their opponent the Genestealers, in the ultimate fight for domination.
