Now Here’s A Peach Amiibo Which Has Reversed Legs

reversed_peach_amiibo_1

Another day, another defective Amiibo figure appears. Edmund, one of the readers of My Nintendo News, has sent in some images of a defective Peach Amiibo he picked up which has reversed legs. Although the figure could probably fetch a pretty penny on eBay, Edmund says he’s not sure what he’s going to do with the Peach Amiibo at present. Have you picked up a defective Amiibo?

    1. Nintendo is pathetic. They have absolutely NO quality controlling going on. At least Disney and Activision CARE for their products

      1. Yeah, but specifically visiting a store to find a defect amiibo, to be able to sell it for a big profit, is just a clear sign of greed….

      2. I’m sure that there are defects for Skylander and DI toys too… You just don’t hear about them much because they aren’t interesting enough. (Who’s more iconic, Mario or some random character from Skylanders… Yeah.)

        1. Skylanders is a huge franchise. It earns BILLIONS for Activision. And for years not one news has been said about either franchise. So What are you talking about?

      3. What quality control?! These mistakes make great little boosts in the market and, besides, the NFC’s on the stand. Get over it. I’ll take a Zelda in a Link costume.

    2. More developers should be like this:

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developer CD Projekt Red has spoken out to explain the open-world RPG’s most recently delay, which sees the game pushed back three months from February 2015 to May 2015.

CD Projekt Red board member, Adam Kicinski, spoke with Polish financial journalists about the decision this week–after all, CDPR is a publicly traded company in Poland.

“Gamers took our decision very well,” Kicinski said, as reported by Eurogamer. “[The] market is afraid of badly polished games on next-gen platforms.”

It’s been a challenging year for some new games, including Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Driveclub, and Assassin’s Creed Unity, each of which have suffered through problematic launches. CDPR doesn’t want the same to be true for The Witcher 3, so the studio is taking more time to iron out the bugs.

“There’s a lot of small errors though, because the game is huge,” Kicinski explained. “It’s the only reason behind the delay. We didn’t assume it will be this big. Only after putting all the pieces together it turned out it’s bigger than the two first put together.”

“Let me remind you: it’s open and not linear,” he added. “We are just learning how to play it and we have to catch the little pieces. We know what to do, we just have to do it. We don’t want to release the game with bugs that undermine the gameplay.”

Kicinski also reiterated that the February 2015 release date for The Witcher 3, itself a pushback from the game’s original fall 2014 release window, was too optimistic given the scope of the game. “We announced the release date very early and we’re paying for it now,” he said.

The new Witcher 3 release date is May 19, 2015 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

        1. They are good devs, and I think the Witcher will be really good becouse of this. However, It’s usually not the devs that push games out on the market unfinished. It’s usually the publishers. The company that publishes the game can sometimes have more pull than the developers themselves… Obviously CDPR is in full control here though..

  1. Nintendo is My Blood Reborn

If their are anymore defected amiibo, they probably will just lose all value.
    Already 3 known this month.

      1. XD, if anybody pays that much for a clearly emptied package that has been clearly taped shut, then I will lose faith in humanity…

    1. Yeah, you can’t see the side, so maybe it has be taped on the sides after reversing the legs to make it look like it was already defect, to make a lot of money

    1. Or a horror short, where instead of Peach’s head turning in horror, it’s her legs that she uses to walk forward to her victim…

              1. My fav console :) always make me happy seeing that purple joy cube, ah so many wonderful games on it exclusive or 3rd party ones, i miss the days when Nintendo made good systems like that. I also love how X,Y and B button were placed around A button, man cant imagine its been over 10 years since they released that little beast. Good times, good times.

I feel like they kinda rebooted themselfs with Wii and not in a good way, Wii was completely opposite for what i thought Nintendo was.

  2. Sell that thing now, while it’s hot. If someone is willing to pay what to many is outrageous, why not let them?! It’s called supply and demand.

    1. No. Just No… But you do have to start questioning the legitimacy of these defective Amiibos.. I think some of these are fake..

  3. Yeah, if people start finding to many to whole magic of it will be gone. What I dont understand is how by ANY means a backwards legged Peach would be worth anything. At first I thought oh cool, now I think well so what. Give me a Kirby with Blue shoes instead of Red ones. Give me a Mario without a fireball, maybe a different color Yoshi. Those would and should be worth the big $$$.

  4. I don’t understand why these would be worth any more money than a non-error ammibo? All you have to do is reverse her legs and it will be normal.
