Next Level Games Had A New IP Called Clockwerk That Was Cancelled

It would appear that Next Level Games were hard at work on a new IP that was cancelled by the team. The game was titled Clockwerk and was a brand new IP. The game is a puzzle platformer staring two elderly gentlemen with enemy gremlins. The game was in its concept stage back in 2011 and was thought to be in development for the Xbox 360, Wii, and PlayStation 3.

It was conceived as the story of two old men, Otto & Herman, who work as Hausmeisters (caretakers) in a magical floating clock tower suspended in the clouds called ‘The World Clock’, that governs the flow of time throughout the universe. On their final day before retirement, a faction of evil gremlins attack the tower, dismantling its innards and disrupting the behaviour of time. In order for the grumpy twosome to finally retire, they must defeat the invaders and repair its inner workings.

  1. I know that make a game is difficult, but come Next Level this is like the fourth one i want to see one of your games.

  2. Huh, I was under the impression that Next Level Games was owned by Nintendo. They’re the ones that made the Mario Striker games and Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon right?
