Well, probably because they only had 20 copies to begin with. Nintendo doesn’t ship many products to the U.K. anymore. Sony, Microsoft and Mountain Dew, well thats a different story..
Anyone who complains about “old news” on this site is full of shit. MNN saved my gaming-ass. Saw the article while at work (so not until an hour had passed) Sold out online. BUT, after driving to gamestop on my lunch break, I still got it. :D!!!!
Now…I’m tempted to turn it around forba profit, but I’m too much a Zelda fan, so I must keep it. What I really have to decide is if hardware (that will go out of date) can still be a collectors item. If so, maybe I don’t open it and buy a regular N3DS for gaming use? Ugh… $200 investment… Torn.
