You’ll be interested to know that aside from the Nintendo 3DS, the Wii U was the only console that saw an overall increase in software sales in 2014 in Japan. Wii U software sales were up 112.95% compared to 2013 which can only be good news for Nintendo. However, Siliconera says that the Nintendo 3DS was the only healthy platform in Japan during the end-of-year season. This is presumably because all platform holders are facing stiff competition from mobile devices.

Wii U isn’t a “failure”, but it definitely should be getting better sales with all these great games… However, people probably aren’t getting a Wii U mainly because it doesn’t look as good as the PS4 and XB One, it has all this doom and gloom constantly put on it by people, and because people don’t want to play E-rated games anymore since they’re not “cool”. TL;DR: Most people buy systems for eye candy, trolls are trolls, and “2cool4Er8ed” people.

Anyone with a new 3ds, can I ask, what do you think of the new c stick? It ain’t the best in re revelations but it works great in the likes of smash and monster hunter. I do honestly think that Nintendo will release a New Circle Pad Pro for people who would trigger buttons. Say what you want but it may happen!

they tried it before with the circle pad pro, and wow is it really shitty for MH4 compared to not having it and just using the touch screen for the c stick, which is surprisingly simple and easy
