Marth Amiibo Now In Stock At Play Asia

Nintendo may have confirmed the Marth amiibo will be returning to retailers during its Direct presentation last week, but the NFC model is still hard to come by for the moment. If you simply can’t wait for the Fire Emblem line of amiibo to hit retail shelves this Spring, which includes Robin and Lucina, Play Asia has the Super Smash Bros. Marth figure up for grabs for approximately $24.99 / £16.49. Though a Japanese release, Nintendo’s amiibo line-up are all region-free so it’s worth a purchase if you’re looking to complete the Super Smash Bros collection. You can place an order through Play Asia’s website, here.

  1. Man- Nintendo must be making a killing on Amiibos. I was thoroughly unconvinced when the first announced them- but- honestly, I wouldn’t mind owning a few. Despite their soon-to-be-rareness, if I could get ahold of a Meta Knight, Shiek, Ike, or Ness Amiibo that would be pretty sweet. I’ll be hunting those ones down in a few weeks. Ness will definitely be a day 1 pre-order for me.

Making a short supply was a very smart business decision- everybody wants them now.

  2. but Bill said that more were coming later this year (assuming MSRP), or are people that desperate that they’re willing to pay double its intended price :/ ?

  3. I found ones cheaper than that on ebay. Some of them are as low as $25.00 while others are as high as $35.00. And that was a couple days ago.
