      1. Thats why i dont play Monster Hunter, my concept of fun – in a hunting game – is more than what it can offer, not saying its bad game, just could be lots better

        1. To use a dam guide just trying to past the first hunt or getting ready is not good enough to you then you must not play many games from your description. You need to understand that not everything is better just by those standards, I see Monster hunter get dissed at in the US because so many don’t like how it looks or “fast” it is, that’s not what makes it a great game. Trying the game full is what gets its credit, the game is very addicting, take it from someone who does play many games, Smash Bros was over run in my most played games, even outdid my favorite game, Super Mario World of the SNES…and that’s saying something. If you saying that “precise and speedy movements, or games with perfect gravity”, then your tops must be Sonic or Mario alone, because there aren’t very many that fit that description easily of todays gaming. Means you need to explore more of your own options.

          1. So everyone must like a game because you like it? I love cod, does that mean everyone else does too, I can give you many reasons why its better than monster hunter and you’d still argue

            1. Then what’s your excuse? Just because you play them means he can’t give it a shot? Sure, give me more reasons, it just boils down to what I’m trying to say, oh but your don’t give a flying dam, you just see me saying something else and you’ll never get my point in the first place. None of you will…and that point is, “Don’t dis it until you give it a good shot, don’t judge a book by its cover” which he is. Just like many people here judge COD by its gameplay. So if you don’t know what the fuck I’m trying to say, then butt the fuck out.

    1. The combat is very precise. Unlike most action games, MH takes alot more practice to get good at it. You have to time your strikes just right, use your special as much as possible, and learn to dodge. You will not get far in MH without learning how to properly dodge attacks.

While MH seems slow to the uninitiated, it actually has very fast paced combat. And I don’t really understand your gravity comment.

  1. I don’t even care anymore, not gonna buy anymore, I’m not gonna frustrate myself…I’m just gonna use my regular 3DS if I ever wanna play a game. These limited edition things almost made me buy something quickly over something that could be useful for me, and I felt a bit guilty. But I’m not gonna let them keep controlling me with these limited editions…

      1. Yes, you’re right. In the end, people will probably not give a shit if you got a limited edition new 3DS XL. I mean, the covers are nice for this and the Majora one, but you could always put something on it, right? They’d probably sell plates that stick to the cover.

  2. I hate this, really wanted to get one and they are all sold out. Why does nintendo complain about not selling enough systems when they are the ones tha make it scarce. Just make 1 million units of this model and sell it everywhere!!! Not just gamestop!!
