This week’s individual UK charts are now in courtesy of GFK Chart-Track and sales tracker UKIE. Dying Light remains at the top spot for its second week running, with no new games entering the top 10 to overthrow its reign. Nintendo’s remake The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D slips from 11 to 14, while Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate climbs three places from 20 to 17. It’s great placement for both titles a month after their initial release.
In a relatively surprising movement, Pokemon Omega Ruby re-enters at 34, though isn’t joined by its counterpart game, sadly. However, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds joins the top 40 chart once again, despite having been released back in 2013. It looks as if a healthy sale price from Amazon UK this past week helped pushed the title back into the charts. For the full individual UK top 40, check out the numbered list below. Alternatively, you’ll find the all-formats chart, here.

Call of duty advanced warfare for 3ds!??
Ah, a mistake on my part when typing them up. Sometimes these things happen, cheers. :)
I wonder if they’ll ever be a 3DS CoD game. If be curious to see that happen and as long as it’s not shitty or having that Declassified ported over, I’m cool with it.
It could be doable with the New 3DS’s c-stick, but I’m not really a big fan of CoD… CS:GO is one of the few fps’s I actually like a ton.
Counter Strike. Typical. :P Not saying it’s bad but I know people love it. Maybe that game should have a portable outing on 3DS instead.
CS is a lot better than CoD in the way that you have to be precise when firing and not being able to spray rapidly and kill everything in sight like CoD.
Precisely, which is what CoD lacks. lol
They used to make the CoD games for DS but it seems Activision is moving the franchise away from handhelds completely after the Declassified fiasco.
Actually, DS CoD sucked ass, all of them and I doubt any of them sold well anyway which is why moved it away to PSVita and then it bombed there epically. lol So their solution: Make mobile CoD crap like Heroes. lol
I find that the lack of COD on the 3DS is weird — as the old DS has had many COD games. I didn’t play any of them but I still wonder why there hasn’t been a 3DS one.
Maybe because the DS games and even that shitty PSVita one didn’t fair well in sales and I can explain why: BECAUSE THEY SUCK.
Im pretty sure they did but they should at least release one as a sortof test run. The Super 3DS should handle it well, with it’s c-nub and all.
I swear that excuse of a “C-Stick” is pathetic and hard to use. They could’ve just taken the same full sized Analog pad, shrink it half its size and place it at the bottom right of the device.
Anyway, a new CoD on New 3DS can work or maybe revive the 3rd person idea from MW2 and turn it into a new game stepping out of the FPS zone. It least it’ll be “new” for the series in terms of gameplay for single/multiplayer aspects. Like how Ironfall was made, CoD can do the same by applying MW2 3rd person as a whole game itself.
I actually agree a bit, that c-stick is a little odd… I see it as an okay control for camera uses, but as for it being used for more action… I feel it would be lacking.
My guess to why they went with a c-nub is cuz of the battery power, Nin said they were going to put a second ●Pad on the first 3DSXL but decided not to because battery life was more important [to them.] As for the placement of the CP…. I think they just wanted it to resemble the Wii U more because the Super3DS is supposed to interact with the Wii U soon. [It’s also why they moved the START & SELECT buttons to the right side.]
As for COD, pretty much any idea is acceptable at this point.
There is nothing incredible about it, it’s as expected…
I can’t believe Fifa 15 and GTA5 is above the likes of Monster Hunter and Zelda xO Goes to show that people buy the same thing year after year rather than trying something fresh (after 15 years, majora’s mask can be considered a fresh game again!)
Exactly. UK gamers are a joke.
Certain games have wider appeal, especially to casual gamers.
Where’s the Wii U games? Oh that’s right, it has none. Shame on Nintendo.
No Wii U games have reached the top 40 in the individual UK video game sales charts for three consecutive weeks now. However, there’s only one existing NeoGAF post reacting on that bad news for UK Nintendo fans…
And Pokemon Omega Ruby has returned to the charts.
No games??? Your using the U.K chart as your evidence. The Wii U has ganes, but because of low sales of the Wii U, they rarely stay on the Top 40 list for a decent amount of time. Mario Kart 8 being the only exception, that game stayed on the Top 40 list for a few months. So before you say that the Wii U has no games, do some research first…
I have a Wii U and there’s no new games to play. It’s essentially a Mario Kart 8 box.
Just because there aren’t very many games that you don’t want to play, doesn’t mean it doesn’t have other games to play on it. It’s not a bad thing if there are only a select few games that you want to play on the system, but going on to say that because of this, the Wii U has no games, that’s a bit of a stretch, if I do say so myself. I personally only own a few games on the system, Nintendo Land, Mario Bros U/Luigi U, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Mario 3D World, Windwaker HD, Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros, but I’d be a fool not to acknowledge the other games that the system has, that I don’t own and have no intention of owning, I hope that I don’t come across as angry, if I do, then I apologize for it, because that’s not my intention…
I’ll actually be honest in saying, I would have never picked up games like NSMBU, NFSMWU, or Scribblenauts Unmasked for the Wii U, if there wasn’t a game drought (which there DEFINITELY was during the entirety of early 2013-early 2014) BUT, I’m actually kinda glad I got to experience those games and to try something new instead of just playing another 3D Mario or Zelda. (In fact, I wouldn’t have bought Hyrule Warriors if some sort of Zelda game was coming out after it, but now I LOVE HW…) The drought was a good and a bad thing for me; not many games, but new experiences to be had (that you may or may not like…) I think the problem the guy above is having is that he might have bought it FOR Mario Kart 8 and some game that would be released later. (In other words, he probably missed out on the drought and now he’s expecting much more games…)
Yeah, the droughts have been depressing to say the least, but as you said, it gives people a chance to try out other games that they otherwise wouldn’t have…
Uhm , theres a drought right now, no matter how much you deny it…. Nintendo has had a drought at the beggining of every year since release.. This one in 2015 is the worst out of the three…
What’s dying light? And why is it so awesome?
I can’t even…
To sum up, it’s a Zombie type of game…
However, it’s very disappointing, mainly because it has no real online mutliplayer option, it only has online co-op…
Is it like left 4 dead? If so than I have to fucking play it.
I don’t know, I’ve never played that one, but I’m sure there are some similarities…
Stop what you’re doing and go play left 4 dead 1 & 2. You won’t regret it.
I like games where I kill humans, not zombies…
I’m not into zombie games either…
In a way you are still killing humans. Zombies are more of challenge than humans anyways. You should also play the spider mode in watch dogs. I’m pretty sure you’ll have a nice time killing humans.
I don’t even look at abominations like Watch Dogs…
This is what I think of that garbage…
Typical. I bet you secretly play watch dogs off line.
I wouldn’t touch that thing for King Midas’ Silver…
Lies. And I have no idea who king midas is and his lame silver
I have a Wii U and see what he plays. He doesn’t play that weak ass GTA cloned crap.
Ik I have him added as well. I always see him playing captain toad or smash.
And do you see Watchdogshit anywhere?
Nope but there’s possibility that he plays it offline.
Such as? Where’s the evidence?
There’s none. Only a possibility
Then don’t assume such “possibility” if there’s no way to prove there is a “possibility”. lol
Watch dogs isn’t anything special, it’s actually really boring.
I never said it was special.
Go try Rampage on N64 whenever you get the chance. :3
I did play it, as well as the ones in SNES…
Then those are your wet dream games on killing humans. There’s even a Wii Rampage game if you’re lucky to find it. lol
Not really, it’s a primitive method…
Then what is your choice of method? Skynet? Age of Ultron?
My own, annihilating them from existence without disgusting biological juices splattering all over the place…
Annihilator Beam? Or one of your incendiary attack/weapons?
Doesn’t matter, as long as it doesn’t leave a mess…
Don’t you want to taste the sweltering slag of your enemies for a victory gourmet? lol JK
Utterly disgusting…
That’s why I said I was joking Spider-Slayer. lol
I know but just the sound of it makes my sensors alarmed with disgust…
How can you feel “disgusted”? lol You’re a robot.
I’m a far superior one to any human made robot by 1 billion times at least…
Then how come “you know who” kicked your ass back at planet dark, gloomy and depressingly disgusting (Dark Aether)? lol
Excuse me?…
Light is disgusting, Darkness is everything…
Then why are you here..in the light? lol
To spread the empire and to destroy infidels…
Not while Samus is still breathing. lol
In the end, me and her belong to the same team because we are both created by the holy N…
Then why fight?
Because we are programmed too…
Not by Lunimoths.
Luminoths are just as much programmed as anyone else by the holy N…
This scene basically describes me and Samus in a way…
Except I didn’t kill her…
“Didn’t” or “failed to kill”? lol
Does it matter…
There is a difference. lol
My mechanical brother bought it and he is a huge Zombie fanatic but even he admitted of it not having replay value enough after completion…
I’m not really the person to replay games. The only games I mainly replay is Zelda and Pokemon. Pokemon is kinda losing replay value as well.
Ikr? I don’t even want to play Pokemon X anymore… (I played it and got BORED with it, which usually never happened with a Pokemon generation from before… Maybe I was spoiled by the awesomeness of B2&W2…)
I got bored with B2/W2 as well because of it’s ridiculous easy crap…
My favourite generation was the 4th because it was also the more challenging one of all generations…
It all depends, imo. Gen 3 is actually my favorite, but I would be lying if I didn’t say Gen 5 has nearly taken that spot for me multiple times.
*Dying Light…
It’s NOTHING like L4D. L4D is actually tons more fun to play.
Here my 2nd-in-Command is a new low for the cattle’s’ so called “intelligence”…
http://www.gamrreview.com/news/92548/50000-sign-petition-for-modern-warfare-2-remaster/
I wanted a trilogy edition myself but Jesus. What makes MW2 any better than the first game which deserves a remaster work far more than any game?
It’s like Mirror’s Edge + L4D
If you want a l4d type of game you should get Zombie Army Trilogy.
Another typical zombies game. Nothing new or refreshing about it. BTW, watch The Walking Dead instead.
I already do watch it. The game is fucking awesome as well.
It’s like saying RE5 is awesome. It’s the same thing, killing zombies in sunlight. Oh how “scary”. :/
Anything can be scary as long as it’s done right…
RE5 and other misguided cattle games are not scary at all because of the action packed content with zero horror, stupid characters, toned down deaths, horrible acting and more hollywood garbage…
Sounds just like RE6 and how the series fell from grace. I want RE4 HD on my Wii U instead or 3D on my 3DS. IDGAF which one gets ported. I just want it. It’s a better RE/horror game.
Indeed, it’s the best Resident Evil in my opinion…
Except I hate having to escort that bitch Ashley everywhere but it adds the tension. Oddly enough, the enemies like Plagas dogs don’t attack her which I think it’s due to the big boss controlling them and commanding them not to kill her because he needs her.
At least she’s a far more helpful AI than the ammo wasting/spamming twat in RE5 who keeps missing shots and only uses a fucking handgun.
Yeah its not really scary. But the comic book look and the fucking story is just great.
Story wise, I loved it and it has its intense moments. The game (Not that cash grab crap Survival Instinct) is highly praised but I’m not a fan of choice based gaming. It’s basically an interactive movie.
Yeah I only play comic based walking dead game. They really hit it off when they made clementine playable. I wonder will there be another. They way it ended leaves gaps open.
Season 1 or 2?
Both
They’re probably making a 3rd entry.
“Nothing new or refreshing about it.” Have you even played it? Sure, it’s not crazy innovative, but it’s a mixture of 2 games styles (Mirrors Edge + any zombie game really) that hasn’t really been done before.
Sure, imo, the story it pretty horrible, but I watch movies for story and play RPG’s for story, not zombie games… Don’t knock it until you try it (which seems to be a habit with most of the peopl- I mean fanboys here…)
Exactly. Nothing new about it. It’s like what Dead Island should’ve been instead of being an extreme borefest that it is.
Besides, it’s got mediocre-average score so that’s also saying something.
I’m surprised to see TLBW made it back to the list, especially in a region who hates Nintendo.
Maybe some of the people that brought Majora’s Mask 3D, but not A Link Between Worlds, decided to give that game a chance, because of how much fun Majora’s Mask 3D was to them and they wanted more Zelda. Maybe Ocarina of Time 3D is hard to find, but they never count downloaded retail games on this chart, so they may have downloaded it instead.
I’ve played A Link Between Worlds, loved it so much that I’m on my second playthrough, played Ocarina of Time and been putting off doing the Water Temple *Shudders* and I’ve loved what I’ve played of that game so far, but I haven’t picked up Majora’s Mask 3D yet. Do you recommend that I do pick up Majora’s Mask 3D? You know, if you have played it, but if you haven’t then this question goes out to anybody that sees this…
I’ve never played Majora’s Mask before but I have LBW and it was good at least for a retro “bird’s eye view” Zelda game. :)
I’ve heard many great things about Majora’s Mask so I say go for it.
There are also 8 games that have reentered the list. Has it ever been that much before???
Just look at the top ten games on that list (with the exception of GTA V)….smh. A lot of you UK gamers are a disgrace to gamers everywhere.
To your point, most of us. I’m a part of the minority…
Sorry for posting on a Nintendo site but I’m glad Dragon Ball Xenoverse is doing well.
