Splatoon Promotion Begins With Colourful Campaign

splatoon_promotional_board

Nintendo has already begun advertising its brand new IP Splatoon at certain video game stores ahead of its release this May. The promotional display asks players to add colour to their world and features a bunch of super colourful ink splats along with the female Splatoon figure. No doubt we will see plenty more colourful promotional materials for Splatoon pop up as we get nearer the release date.

Thanks, Jacob

  1. Nice I can’t wait for this game it’s going to be big the lines at both Pax’s was long like 2 hours people can’t wait for this game

  2. In ten years, when we’re all heartily sick of the Splatoon franchise and how milked it’s getting, think back to how psyched we were today, just to see it on store shelves!

  3. I am really excited about Splatoon but I do care about MARIO PARTY 10 BIG TIME. i got it preordered and the amiibos, alll my friends are excited about Mario Party 10 too!!

    1. Although I’m not really the biggest fan of the Mario Party franchise I must admit, those mini-games from Mario Party 10 do look pretty fun and enjoyable. The problem is, I just don’t think a lot hardcore Nintendo fans are looking forward to that game. Maybe if there was mention of online multiplayer then maybe I’d give it a look if not I’ll pass and maybe pick it up when it’s dirt cheap. As for Splatoon it looks like it will breathe new life into the seemingly declining shooter genre. It certainly has a chance to do for the shooting genre what Smash did for the fighting genre and that’s to bring in a new legion of gamers who weren’t interested in shooters before. Splatoon is loaded with potential and I’m happy that Nintendo has noticed that by trying to heavily advertise and promote it. I hope their efforts are rewarded by millions of gamers purchasing this seemingly ” game changing ” title

  5. Probably getting the game digital. I don’t know why, I’ve just really started to enjoy not having to switch discs all the time. Also, multiplayer games are much better to have digitally, as you can switch between games right there on the couch!

  6. I’d buy this if it wasn’t 60 bucks, in my eyes it just seems like a multiplayer/short campaign mode game that shoud be 40 bucks
