Prope and Kadokawa Games have just released the first trailer for the Nintendo 3DS version of the long-awaited Rodea the Sky Soldier. This is basically the first look at the Nintendo 3DS version as the game was originally destined to be released on the Nintendo DS and Wii. The game has since been moved to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS and the company has announced that there will be a playable demo coming to Japan on April 2nd. We shall have to wait till the fall to get the game here in the west.
Thanks, JapanGamer

Looks cool
I can’t wait until this drops on the Wii U. I hope we get that Japanese theme song to.
Copping this day one. Platformers (especially the good ones) are becoming few, far and between these days so I’m glad Nintendo, Kadokawa Shoten and a few indie companies out there aren’t forgetting about the gamers who still appreciate these kinds of games.

The soon the reviews come out, the sooner I can re evaluate my opinion on this game before I decide to pick it up because I am interested but the visuals… aside from the 3DS because we know what the hardware is limited to, the Wii U version just looks dry and dull. I certainly hope I get proven wrong but considering this is a Wii game, I have little hope.
