Public #Rodea Announcement! The Wii version of the game will indeed be on its own physical disc bundled with first-print Wii U versions!

NIS America has once again clarified that if you pick up the Wii U version of Rodea The Sky Soldier then you’ll get a disc containing the original Wii version of the game absolutely free. You will need to purchase one of the first print editions. Rodea The Sky Soldier is coming to the United States on September 22nd and to Europe on September 25th. Cool! Bought the limited edition version last week. So I should be getting the Wii and Wii U Version.

Why does anyone need that? If it were a WiiU game that gets like an N64 cart with it then cool, but a nearly identical version packaged inside? Give it to a friend? Idgi.

only the Wii version has multiplayer, whereas the Wii U and 3DS versions do not
It’s Local multiplayer only, but still makes no sense at all that they took it away for the upgraded ones. Especially from WiiU, I can’t imagine there was that big of a hurdle they had to jump from Wii to WiiU in making the multiplayer races work. The rest of the game works the same? Awkward…

I heard the Wii version is different than the Wii U version. I want to know if the Wii version is released with the standard edition or not. It doesn’t specify if it’s for both editions or just Limited Edition.
As far as I know it’s the first print edition of the standard edition, and of course the limited.
Here’s the info from GameStop:
“First print copies of the Wii U version of Rodea the Sky Soldier will also come packaged with the original unreleased Wii version of the game! The Wii version will be exclusive to the retail version of the game and available only for the first printing. Competitive multiplayer is exclusive to the Wii version and players can challenge their friends to see who has gained true mastery of the skies! I’ll reserve judgement. Not really looking forward to this but I’ll wait after the final product is finished.
Would love to have this limited edition but don’t really want to pay 80 for something coming out in September. Wish it was on amazon so they charge me wen it releases

This game has horrible graphics, what a LAZY attempt from Mr Naka
It does look like a mix between GCN & PS2 and almost the same looks that Sonic Boom has except with more dull greens mixed in. Imo anyway.
