Mewtwo Now Available To Purchase For Super Smash Bros In The US

Earlier today Mewtwo went up for purchase in Europe, and now it’s rolled round for the US too! For those that didn’t register Super Smash Bros for both the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U, you can now get to the eShop and buy Mewtwo at $4.99 for both the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U, or $3.99 for one of them.

  1. Score! I do believe it cost 4.32 after tax! It wasn’t enough to be round up to $5.00. I think its worth it personally.

      1. No tax at all? It could depend on what state you live in if you reside in the states. That’s cool though, under 5 bucks is a good deal in my opinion. I can’t wait for the others!

Yeah I live in Georgia. Everything I buy online has no tax included.$59.99 would ring up to just $60.00. $3.99 is really cheap and if people are complaining that is a
ridiculous price than they’re just a broke down bitch with no money.

          1. Near Atlanta by chance? I live in south Florida but a friend moved to Atlanta a few years back and I visit like once a year. Love Atlanta lol.

Nah its the northern part of Georgia. Near places like Savannah. I’ve been to Atlanta a couple of times to shop but I would never live there. I would rather live in new york.

              1. True that. I like the music scene up in atlanta, there’s a lot of electronic music I like but hardly anyone down south knows it but me and my friends but up there everyone has good taste instead of radio taste, and the clubs are way better than down here. Totally different vibe. Lot of hipsters too in atlanta I’ll say lol.

  2. super smash bros dlc see out on the eshop i got my early but now we can all do it together to get Mewtube ok Have a good rest of the afternoon

      1. Mewtwo is pretty awesome I think. He dies at a fairly low percent but he’s really strong and has a lot of range with his tail tilt attacks. Aerials are nice too.

          1. Yea I’m happy with that. After making lucario so strong (at high percentages) I felt Mewtwo deserved to be beefed up out of respect.

              1. Blaziken would be a much better fire pokemon for smash than Charizard. Charizard is pretty trash in the new smash. He was more useful in brawl lol. The only thing he is useful for now is for spammers to abuse flare blitz in team matches. Infernape would be my other choice. For fucks sake he’s a fire pokemon and hardly has any fire moves lol. And his fire breathing is smaller than Koopa’s so it’s even more embarrassing lol.

                  1. Yea he can quite annoying with it, but 1 on 1 I haven’t had a problem with it cause it’s blockable and gives enough time for me to see it coming. On teams though it’s like guaranteed KOs left and right cause his partner can just catch you in a weak combo just pressing A and that leaves you open for spamizard.

                      1. Yea and for a boxer that was really weak in his games lol. I don’t have a problem beating little macs but I haven’t played too many either, just mainly gotta remember he has his no flinch forward smash and plan around that. Most of his smashes are easy KOs but his forward one is the one that catches most people. I can be nasty and run up and land his fire uppercut on people (his up smash if you hit in the right spot) but I don’t use him too much at all. When do you usually play by the way? Would you be down for a few matches sometime?

                              1. Me too, that will make it easier to plan a day. Do you have a set schedule? I work Monday nights, do a double wednesdays and saturdays, and work thurdsay night currently.

                                1. Well it’s not yet set until after this Saturday which is one week of weekend work day with the other as three day weekend off. So I’ll let you know how my schedule is soon.

                        1. Ridley, the Angel of Death

Now if only Mewtwo wasn’t as lite as Jigglypuff, I’d give Sakurai 5 out of 5 stars for how he upgraded Mewtwo for Smash 4. Instead, I give him a 3 out of 5.

                1. Ok so I got a question… I used the codes and had every character that were available and had most of the stuff from the game. Thing is, my save data got corrupted and lost everything… will I be able to redownload mewtwo? Or will I have to buy it even though I got to use the code?

                  1. Why not have both…?

Unless you already have all three games and you preordered MKX…. Then both characters would’ve costed you nothing additional…

                    1. I think he was talking about how Nintendo priced their DLC in Smash Bros the same way NetheRealm Studios priced their DLC in Mortal Kombat.

                2. Guess I’ll buy a Nintendo eShop card. I just want him apart of the roster. I may not use him much but when my friends are over, there will be one more character to choose from. Not to mention we played Melee like MAD back in the day so yeah, they familiar with MewTwo.

                3. Free Mewtwo and the soundtrack were pretty cool gifts for buying/registering both versions considering I would’ve done it anyway. Once you learn him he’s pretty strong. Then again, if you know him well he’s also pretty easy to beat. Glad he’s not too overpowered or anything. Now i’ll just be waiting on Lucas and the rest of the planned characters to be announced and released so I can buy them day one. I like the Mii Fighter costumes but they’re a bit expensive considering how little I use Mii Fighters. Maybe if that Online Mii Mode ever happens i’ll grab the outfit bundle.

Still waiting on some sort of stage pack though…

                  1. I’m ok with wolf but they need to beef his forward smash if they do. I used wolf and was good with him, but most players with him spam his forward smash and that’s it.
