Terraria For Wii U Receives PEGI 12 Rating

The Pan European Game Information, or PEGI, is an age rating system established to help European parents make informed decisions on buying computer games, much like the ESRB in the states. If PEGI is anything to go by, it appears that the Wii U version of the popular 2D action-adventure sandbox indie game, Terraria, is on the way!

According to the PEGI website, Terraria for Wii U received a PEGI 12 rating, meaning that only players aged 12 and up are suitable to enjoy the game. This is because Terraria contains non-realistic looking violence toward humans characters and allowing online gameplay with other players.

To receive such a rating, a game must “show violence of a slightly more graphic nature towards fantasy character and/or non graphic violence towards human-looking characters or recognisable animals, as well as video games that show nudity of a slightly more graphic nature would fall in this age category. Any bad language in this category must be mild and fall short of sexual expletives.”

  1. Guys, this game is awesome.
I got it on steam a long time ago “I dont quite remember if it was 2012”.

Get it, if they did the port right then the Wiiu is the closest you will get to the pc release “if they used the gamepad properly”.
