Nintendo E3 Digital Event 2015: Here’s Everything That Happened

This year Mario reaches an impressive milestone in video gaming: 30 years as a leading man in Nintendo’s timeless Super Mario Bros. series. At E3, Nintendo celebrates Mario’s longevity with a new installment in the franchise called Super Mario Maker, one of many games at the show that transforms familiar characters and their games with unique new looks, styles and game-play features. Players will see new installments of beloved franchises like Star Fox, Yoshi, Animal Crossing, Mario & Luigi, Xenoblade and Metroid, and enjoy the reimagining of Bowser and Donkey Kong as Skylanders figures that also have amiibo functionality with compatible Nintendo games.

“Millions of video game players worldwide look to Nintendo to deliver surprises and smiles,” said Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime. “That’s what we have on display at E3 – familiar characters and franchises transformed in unexpected ways that can only be found on Nintendo systems.”

Here’s a roundup of some of the news and games Nintendo is showing this week:

  • Super Mario Maker: The next evolution of the Super Mario Bros.series lets people’s imaginations run wild. For the first time ever, friends can have fun playing through levels they create for one another. The Wii U GamePad controller makes it so easy for anyone to create levels; it may feel like simply sketching out ideas on paper. Players can enjoy a seemingly endless supply of inventive Mario levels from players around the world. The game includes a book totaling about 100 pages that illustrates the boundless possibilities in Super Mario Maker. Nintendo will also release two special Mario amiibo figures to celebrate the 30thanniversary of the original Super Mario Bros. game. Tapping these amiibo in Super Mario Maker adds a Big Mushroom power-up to your course, allowing Mario to grow big and bust blocks from any direction, as well as adding a retro visual filter to the game, reminiscent of older cathode ray tube televisions. In addition, many other amiibo will also be compatible with Super Mario Maker through the use of a new item called the Mystery Mushroom. This item allows Mario to take the appearance of many other characters, such as Link, Kirby or Wii Fit Trainer, complete with character-specific animations and sound effects. These character costumes can be unlocked by completing the 100 Mario Challenge mode and many can also be unlocked if the player taps the amiibo of the character to the Wii U GamePad. To coincide with the Super Mario Bros. anniversary, the Super Mario Maker game and the 30thAnniversary amiibo launch the 11th of September.
  • LetsSuperMario.com Website: To continue the celebration of Super Mario’s 30th anniversary, fans around the world are encouraged to create personal “Let’s Super Mario!” video tributes that showcase their love for the legendary franchise. The videos can be submitted to a dedicated website (http://www.LetsSuperMario.com) starting today and might be shared by Nintendo on the website. Whether it’s through song, dance or reliving favorite moments, Nintendo will honor Super Mario by showcasing the creativity of our fans. In the spirit of Nintendo’s mission of putting smiles on the faces of everyone that experiences our products, Nintendo’s share of any ad revenue generated from the Let’s Super Mario 30thAnniversary videos will go toward a donation Nintendo is making to Operation Smile, a global surgical charity dedicated to healing the smiles of children around the world suffering from cleft lip and cleft palate. For more information, visit http://www.operationsmile.org.
  • Yoshi’s Woolly World: Collect, cooperate and get crafty with Yoshi in a world made completely from yarn, felt and other fabrics and textiles. Pulling on strings in the game usually leads to discoveries, while new transformations include a motorcycle, mole and airplane. The game’s simple platforming adventure challenges players to find hidden secrets. Tapping select amiibo characters to the GamePad creates new patterns for Yoshi, while new Yarn Yoshi amiibo let players control two Yoshis at the same time. This first-ever two-player co-op Yoshi game includes Mellow Mode, which gives Yoshi wings, and is perfect for players who just want to hunt for treasure, or newcomers who want to get the hang of the game. The game launches Oct. 16.
  • Star Fox Zero: Fox, Falco, Peppy and Slippy are back in a new adventure. Players pilot an Arwing in the traditional style of TV game play and, in a new twist, players can use the cockpit view on the GamePad to aim and shoot enemies using the gyro controls. Having two unique viewpoints offers distinct gaming advantages and frees up the TV for more cinematic moments in the title’s new all-range mode. Scheduled to launch during the 2015 holiday season, Star Fox Zero includes a new Walker transformation for the Arwing, a new Gyrowing vehicle and the return of the Landmaster Tank.
  • Skylanders SuperChargers from Activision: Both Donkey Kong and Bowser guest star in the next Skylanders game complete with their own vehicles and move sets that celebrate the lore and legacy of their 30+ years in the video game universe. As an added bonus, the Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and Hammer Slam Bowser Skylanders SuperCharger characters also work as amiibo in compatible Nintendo games, so players can store their save data in both modes with a simple twist of the figure’s base. The game is anticipated to launch Sept. 20.
  • Just Dance 2016 from Ubisoft: Just Dance 2016 is the latest installment in the best-selling music game franchise of all time. Launching Oct. 20, 2015, on both Wii and Wii U, the game features tracks from artists like Jason Derulo, Meghan Trainor and Lady Gaga. This year, the free Just Dance Controller app enables Wii U players to use their smartphones to play.
  • Xenoblade Chronicles X: Amid an intergalactic war between aliens and human survivors, players fight for survival while exploring the massive expanses of an unknown planet. Weaponized mechs called “Skells” let players access every location they see. Players also can customize a lethal skill set of combat and defensive skills, called Arts, to strengthen their strategies and defeat enemies efficiently. The game launches Dec. 4.
  • Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival: Animal Crossing amiibo figures and cards get their own party game. Players are challenged to collect the most Happy Points by the end of a dynamic board game. The board layout can remain the same, but the spaces and even the environment change, depending on which month players choose for their game. As in other Animal Crossing games, players can buy turnips and use strategy to decide when to sell them for big money. Scheduled to launch during the 2015 holiday season, Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival will launch as a bundle that includes the game, two amiibo figures and three amiibo cards.
  • Genei Ibun Roku #FE (name not final): Set in modern Tokyo, young people come together to weave an epic tale alongside heroes from an alternate world. This brand-new RPG, developed by ATLUS, is infused with elements of the popular Fire Emblem series. In the struggle between the worlds of glamour and darkness, these young heroes rise to face the challenge. The game is scheduled to launch in 2016.
  • Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash: Up to four players can compete in tennis matches that could only take place in the Mushroom Kingdom. With the addition of Jump Shots to hit high balls overhead, or Giant Mushrooms that when picked up make characters bigger, this Mario Tennis is reborn with features enabling players to aggressively go after higher balls. The game is scheduled to launch during the 2015 holiday season.

Nintendo 3DS

  • The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes: Three players take on the role of individual Link characters and team up to solve puzzles and battle bosses in dungeons. The game features the same top-down view and visual style of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Players must work together, as the group shares all hearts. All three Links can stack on top of one another to create a Totem to reach new locations and solve puzzles or fight enemies. Different outfits offer unique abilities. The game is scheduled to launch this fall.
  • Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon: The player transforms into one of 20 Pokémon as he or she sets out on an adventure in a world inhabited solely by the 720 discovered Pokémon, including Legendary and Mythical Pokémon. This game boasts hours of replay-ability by randomly generating each dungeon, so players will never explore the same dungeon twice as they unravel this tale of adventure and mystery. The game is scheduled to launch during the 2015 holiday season.
  • Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer: One of the favorite activities in the Animal Crossing series now gets a full game. With more options than ever, players design interiors and exteriors of homes for hundreds of animal characters, and can even design a garden. They can choose where to place the home, and then pick out a house style and colors for the roof, door and fence before getting to work on the interior. Tapping compatible amiibo character cards brings favorite Animal Crossing characters with their separate personalities and design requests into the game, which launches with a complimentary amiibo card on Sept. 25. A bundle will launch the same day and include the game, one amiibo card and the NFC Reader/Writer accessory.
  • YO-KAI WATCH: This game sold millions and became a cultural phenomenon in Japan. Now U.S. players get to experience the fun of hundreds of sometimes cute, sometimes spooky, and usually mischievous Yo-kai that inhabit our world. Players explore using their Yo-kai Watch to find Yo-kai, then befriend them and turn them into a team to battle other Yo-kai. The game is scheduled to launch during the 2015 holiday season.
  • Fire Emblem Fates: Two versions of the franchise’s new installment offer players an unprecedented choice: fight an opposing force or join the other side and try to make changes from within. For the first time in the series, players take on the role of the main character and command an army, while struggling to decide which path to follow: helping blood relatives or the family that raised him or her. The game is scheduled to launch in 2016.
  • Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam: Paper Mario jumps out of the book and into the bizarre adventures of Mario & Luigi, resulting in hilarious and dangerous hijinks. Become the superstar team of Mario, Luigi and Paper Mario to take on quests, take down enemies and untangle these two unique universes in this playful new entry in the Mario & Luigi series. The game is scheduled to launch in spring 2016.
  • Hyrule Warriors Legends: The Wii U version of Hyrule Warriors comes to the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. In the portable version, experience new story elements and playable characters inspired by The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. New features allow players to enhance their tactics and switch between different characters on the fly as they explore and battle in Hyrule’s most famous locales. The game is scheduled to launch in Q1 of 2016.
  • Metroid Prime: Federation Force: Up to four players can connect online or locally to take on co-op missions in this first-person sci-fi adventure set in the Metroid Prime universe. Players don a mech suit and work together as a team to clear out enemy-infested bases and complete objective-based missions. After completing the missions, up to six players can compete in Metroid Prime: Blast Ball, a three-on-three game that requires players to shoot a ball into their opponents’ goal. The game is scheduled to launch in 2016.

161 thoughts on “Nintendo E3 Digital Event 2015: Here’s Everything That Happened”

      1. Let’s be honest here guys, every negative steorotype of Nintendo was essentially practiced during this Digital Event

        1. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

Seriously! This is what makes the event even worse. I do like the usage of puppets, though.

    1. People damage controlling it are completely blind. This is the biggest event for gaming every year and this is what this give us. I’m keeping my Wii u but I’m gonna get a ps4.

    1. I will take it a step further. This is the worst E3 presentation of all time by a major console maker. I have watched them all since the first E3, and I have never seen anything so sad.

      1. Wouldn’t Microsoft’s showing two years ago beat it? All the bullshit revolving around the Xbox One?

I’m in no way defending this conference btw, Nintendo had the worst ‘conference’ this year. Even worse than EA…

  1. They don’t seem incredibly focused on or confident in Wii U this year. I find it interesting that they mentioned NX, and how their focus on new titles leaned more towards 3DS imo. We saw a few new Wii U games, but most we already knew about and they even gave 3DS one of the few popular Wii U titles but the 3DS version comes with all the Wii U DLC characters free and even gives you at least 2 new ones you can’t get on Wii U yet without transferring.

    1. I agree. I think they’ve given up on the Wii U myself and that they’re heavily focused on next year’s E3 regarding the NX. Most of the newly announced titles on the Wii U that were showed at E3 appear to be quick cash grabs outside of Starfox Zero. Hell, the 3DS was better presented at E3 than the Wii U was and it didn’t even need to be. I appreciate all of the games we’re getting this year but damn that E3 was horrid as hell.

      1. Right. Funny how much time was spent on things that like Wooly World, or even Xenoblade X and FE x SMT when these were games we’ve known about since around the Wii U’s launch. FE x SMT is the only one that we haven’t seen a bunch of already and that doesn’t mean much considering they still didn’t really explain or show off much of that game. You can only show a game so many times before the general public gets tired of seeing it and just wants to play it. The only “Wii U surprise” we saw today that I remember is Mario Tennis and that could’ve just as easily been announced in a regular Nintendo Direct.

  2. Who’s idea was it for the layout for the Digital Event? This was the worse E3 presentation this year and one of their worst ever. Why did they cut out Fatal Frame and Devil’s Third? What about other Wii U games in 2016? It’s like they didn’t care.

“RIP” stands for “Rest in Peace.” So you don’t need to say “in peace” after saying “RIP.”

      1. Because that was the time when a ton of mainstream Metroid games were releasing. People applauded Nintendo for adding something new in between the classics. Now its just something people didn’t want, NOT coupled with something people seriously wanted for years

  3. Wow, everybody talking all that hype and how Nintendo’s going to kill it this year.

Judging by the comments, id guess it didn’t go so great?! Lol.

    1. I think last year being so great kind of over hyped this one, but the worst thing was all the spin-offs. No new big games, for neither Wii U nor 3DS. Really underwhelming.

    2. pink0crystal0midbus

It could have been great… but, Nintendo made so many bad choices and summed them all up into one terrible and disappointing E3 direct.

It was brutal how awful it was. Made me want to cry.

    3. I gotta amit it didn’t….. But I’m strangely content with what we got could have switch tennes 4 strikers, but i can understand the disappoinment, for the rest who don’t have a 3DS.

  4. Nothing big new for the Wii U, nothing big new for 3DS. It had it’s moments, but was disappointing overall.

    1. Its moments? What moments? The moment when I thought they were going to unveil Animal Crossing Wii U was the best moment of the entire thing. Then “amiibo Festival” happened.

      1. You’re not wrong. But I did enjoy the spin-off Zelda, and Star Fox looks good IMO. Fire Emblem looks amazing! Other than that, nothing interesting on my part…

    2. pink0crystal0midbus

The worst moment was when it ended and I almost passed out in shock.

Reggie was giving his farewell speech and I was sitting on my computer like, “Oh my god… it’s over and they showed absolutely nothing new.”

      1. sherlockwillfightbilbo

I was hoping for one surprise reveal at the end. Just one. Like Smash’s reveal at E3 2013. But nope. Nothing. Just garbage. Shovelware. Mediocrity. Disappointment.

  5. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

    >>>This needs to be posted one more time as this is the definition of how I felt and I’m sure 99% felt>>>

      1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

                      1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

                        >>>Verkligen, låt oss hoppas att Befälhavare Iwata verkligen lyssnar idag>>>

    1. My highlights were Mario and luigi, heros, star fox, and mario tennis….SO FUCKING DISAPPOINTED

    2. Hahahahahahahahaha i kept telling you
fanboys over and over again that Nintendo
is going to drop the ball didnt i?,lol I told
you no Metriod Prime Universe, not Super
Mario Sunshine 2,and you said im trolling,
I kept telling you Iwata needs to get fired,
WHY DO YOU THINK HE SKIPPED E3? LOL
i told u long in advance Nintendo will suck
come e3,Sony and Microsoft wiped the
      floor with Nintendo lol.

        1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

          >>>That Xbot God Phile Spencer is powerful, I need to upgrade myself even more to counter this threat>>>

        2. For real? All Microsoft had of any interest at all was the Minecraft Hologram thing. Sony had Last Guardian, FF7, and Horizon. They actually showed some genuine creativity rather than just endless FPS’s. I’ll always be a Nintendo fan, but Sony won E3 this year by far.

        3. Sony won by default because of Last Guardian, FF7, and Shenmue 3. They also had No Man’s Sky and the best new IP so far shown at e3, Horizon.

Yes a lot of these aren’t coming out this year but No Man’s Sky is still slated for Q4 2015. It and MGS5 look to be the best holiday games this year unless something else is announced. I myself wasn’t that impressed with Halo 5 but we’ll see.

And about FF7, it says ‘Play it on Playstation First’ but Square has said nothing about Xbox yet. It will most likely go the route that most PS4 exclusives go (No Man’s Sky, Street Fighter 5, FF14) and be PS4 and PC. The real tell will be if Square announces it for Xbox One in the next couple days like they did for FF15 and KH3. Rise of the Tomb Raider was also announced as an exclusive for Xbox but was revealed as a timed exclusive a couple days later.

    3. I prepared a meal, got some beer, was very excited, but then…

The most depressing E3 performance of Nintendo I can remember. I have a lot of friends that are very cynical about Nintendo. I always defended big Ns way of doing things. But this time there is no defence. What a pile of shit. It was almost disgusting.

    4. I decided to focus on revision rather than E3

I just looked at the roundup

So glad I took the decision to revise.

    5. This is what you call dropping the ball. Animal Crossing? Sure, we’ll give you a board game. Metroid? Nah, Blast Ball is where its at. Mario Tennis? Looked good, but then we had to call it “Ultra Smash” just to make it awful.

Their best game was Super Mario Maker, so what did they do with that? Show almost no footage, and reveal nothing we didn’t know about the game except amiibo compatibility which looks like a total waste.

      No big announcements, no nothing.

      1. Unfortunately, that’s because it IS SF64- they’re “re-imagining” it.

Apparently even the series’ creator Miyamoto-san doesn’t have faith in it anymore if they’re redoing SF64 twice in a row.

          1. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

It is. A remake in this franchise means previous games before it are no longer canon from that moment on. Which means Krystal no longer exists right now.

            1. That sucks. We only really got to see Krystal as a part of the Starfox team twice. But at least we get to see Peppy in battle with the team again.

    6. Kaptain Krusha K. Roolenstein

There was nothing suprising. Got a tiny bit excited with star fox but no walking around on the ground so it felt short. Love zelda series as a whole but they’re just milking it now and it upsets me.

    7. Remember when samus was the star of metroid? Or how animal crossing was a life simulation game? Peperage farm remembers.

    8. Screwattack put it best. Nintendo, we’re not mad, just disappointed.
      It was just that, disappointing.
I’m just going to take a backseat to gaming in general after this…

      1. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

Sadly, I’m both. I should have known when I heard Hyrule Warriors was getting ported to the 3DS that it meant Nintendo has officially given up on the Wii U. I’m so distraught I can’t even get optimistic that Nintendo might be holding back some announcements for later this year. These last few days have been the saddest days to be a strong Nintendo supporter that defends most of their decisions.

    9. In a nutshell : “Wii U is dead, we give you Starfox and Mario Tennis so you shut the fuck up for a while, we keep the big titles for the NX”.
Extremely bad E3 for Nintendo, the very worst in years. Microsoft and Sony have shown the goods, their fans are happy, EA, Ubisoft, Bethesda and Squeenix had great conferences, and Nintendo fans are left with amiibos, Skylanders and a few mediocre-looking games. Nintendo are giants of the industry, they don’t have the right to fuck up an E3 presentation like that. And they fucked up when they needed to impress and surprise the most. Nintendo is completly out of touch, completly out of the competition, in an industry that is moving and evolving very fast, I don’t feel like they can satisfy anymore. No games, no new IP, fan-milking with toys,…
They dropped below 0 for me today, I used to be a big Nintendo fan, now I feel like just selling my Wii U I barely play anyway and go for a PS4. And I think that’s what I’m going to do.

      1. This was by far the most dissapointing E3 for the big N. Sell the Wii U, but keep the 3DS for next year.

Fire Emblem Fates is the only reason why the direct appealed to me in the smallest morsal. =~= Big fat “F” for Nintendo.

      2. Simply put, there won’t be many amazingly well anticipated games on Wii U, until Late 2016. Remember, these were 2015-Early 2016 games only. If they showed of Mid to Late 2016 games as well, then this Digital Event wouldn’t be NEARLY as disappointing. Zelda would have been shown, Metroid would have been showed, a TRUE Animal Crossing would have been shown.
But, indeed, this was easily worse than last year’s amazing presentation…

          1. You’re right, I shou,d have worded that better. How does, ‘it most likely would have been shown’ sound.

            1. Much better, and yeah, I’d agree with what you mention. However, the thing that scares me is that ‘we’ll only show games that are going to be released in 2015 and late 2016’ mentality. Why is this? It’s not like they’ve been conservative about it, we’ve known about Woolly World and Fire Emblem since… 2012? Early 2013? It makes me think that they don’t actually have ANYTHING to show for late 2016 because they’re abandoning ship (‘ship’ in this case being the Wii U), which is NOT acceptable in any way.

        1. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

As far as Nintendo was concerned this year, E3 was just one gaming event Nintendo didn’t really want to be a part of this year.

    10. One of if not the worst Nintendo E3’s ever. So disappointed. The Wii U will be gone by Christmas next year.

    11. *puts wallet away* You’re safe this year my precious money.

NINTENDO! I SWEAR TO GOD! GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER BY NEXT N-DIRECT OR I’M GONNA BITCH-SLAP REGGIE!

    12. “Millions of video game players worldwide look to Nintendo to deliver surprises and smiles,” said Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime. “That’s what we have on display at E3 – familiar characters and franchises transformed in unexpected ways
that can only be found on Nintendo systems.”

Great, now they’re putting words in our mouths!!!

      1. Well, those “transformations” are NOT for the better.

Who wanted an Animal Crossing party game where amiibos are the driving force meaning only 20 people will actually get to play it? Who wanted a Metroid Prime game that doesn’t involve Samus and instead focuses on a random squad of troopers playing sci-fi soccer? Who wanted ANOTHER Mario Tennis game?

Not the hardcore fans like myself.

    13. Watch, next year Nintendo is gonna be ranting about NX and start hyping us up with Super Mario Galaxy 3, and they aren’t gonna peep about the Wii U.

      1. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

Never. It’s for the NX. Just like Metroid for home console. What you’ve already heard of for Wii U is all we get, it seems. Sucks, I know.

    14. :(

      Here’s the short version:

Dorky Puppey Show → Spinoff x 10 → No new Retro-Studios game → Cliche ‘lets celebrate freakin SMB’ → No real Metroid → No HD GameCube games → ‘Let’s celebrate freakin SMB like we do every moment of our existence’ again

      1. You think only peoples on this site are disappointed? Go to Nintendo’s official Facebook and read the comments on their latest posts LOL

          1. Go on Smashboards

            Go on Twitter

Go anywhere that discusses anything. Every time this years E3 is mentioned, there will be someone saying that they’re disappointing, even if the place doesn’t relate to Nintendo or even gaming.

    15. guys calm down, Nintendo has been doing everything they could do. we have to remember just how alone they are in development for the wii u. They just did not have enough to show to make the e3 look as good as even they hoped. we should not crucify them, its fine to be disappointed but most their Wii U centric devs have pretty much JUST completed a dev cycle, there was just no way for them to keep up the pace while continuing the high quality. They put out what they could, this was just the year where the dev cycles aligned badly. I am aslo assuming a few devs were behind… so they had no choice in what to show.

The other factor is, they just did not want Zelda U, DK:TF, SMTxFE and of course Xenoblade to happen again where they show or tease a game we wont be either seeing for years, or ends up being delayed. Infact, with the disappointment we should be happy that Nintendo did not stoop to lying to us to make things sound better. They stood there and gave us what they had without using filler to trick us into thinking they had more than they did.

        1. *claps* good job undermining the meaning of the post. I was disapointed but i understand Nintendos position, and i explained it which is why im not mad about it. But you seem to be so hate filled you rather not understand you just want to be angry.

All I said was, this was going to happen no matter what Nintendo did, things did not work out. And they were honest in what they shown. Why be mad about it? IT HAPPENS

its happened to me as a dev, its happened to my friends who ive developed with or not before. but i guess basic logic does not suit you well does it?

          1. However Nintendo had pleeenty opportunity to listen to the demands. When they ask for an Animal Crossing for the Wii U, pretty sure they didn’t mean Mario Party. We all know they have Zelda ready play at bits here and there, and they threw away an opportunity for a really hyped up teaser.

Nintendo had a business failure and a big brain failure. After they see all the feedback, I’m hoping they’ll get back up on their game. “Hoping”.

      1. I call bullshit on that. They shouldn’t have focused on Mario Maker or Yoshi’s Woolly World. We’ve seen everything about them already. If they hadn’t done that Mini Direct and the Smash Direct before this and just merged it all together while showing some of their other games as well (Fatal Frame, Devil’s Third and a Dragon Quest location would’ve been nice), the event could have turned ok. I don’t doubt we’ll have it better next year, but only because Zelda will be there, and that game by itself just wipes the floor with everything they’ve shown today.

    16. Some sick kid dieing that only knows pain gets to make a wish. He wants to go to Disney world, but he doesnt got long and he wont enjoy it because hes in so much pain. He gets there and his parents get grouped apart for the first ride so as he waits after he gets ofoff he ride, well he doesnt have to wait because his parents blew up for no reason and died on the for the first ride. So his parents died in front of him and now out of no where Ronald McDonald runs and grabs him and sells him to a pedophile so he can get his crack fix, the pedophile is the burger king guy……. so for the rest of the kids short life he gets raped by whoppers and chicken fries everyday and all he ever wanted was go to disney world. Well lucky for him he beats all odds, he beats his condition for 3 more years so instead of a hopeful happy situation of a bad case of survival hes locked in a cage for 3 years of either being abused himself or forced to watch burger king guy and Ronald bitch mc Donald have nasty fast food gay butt sex rignt in front of him and seeing whoppers being used in never imagined ways all while the bk guy blankly stares at him…….. the kid is traumatized body, mind, eyes and soul. … and one day he gets his new wish 3 years ago when he got abducted, he dies. Its the happiest moment of his life. How terrible is that?

WELL THATS HOW FUCKING TERRIBLE THAT SHITTY BITCH ASS POOR OF AN ESCUSE DIGITAL EVENT WAS! HOW AWFUL EVEN I WASNT EXPECTING IT TO BE THAT BAD AND I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE COMPLETE DOGSHIT! NO I WAS PROVEN WAY WRONG!

      1. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

roflmfao Great analogy, morbid as fucking hell, but great. I want to go leap off a cliff so bad right now.

      2. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

And yeah. We were all proven wrong. It’s not as bad as complete dogshit. It’s fucking worse!

    18. Im still trying to get my head round most of these games.

Some of them, like the paper mario crossover, sound so fan-made its unbelievable.

    19. Other than mario and luigi, hyrule warriors and mario maker Nintendo had nothing even starfox was…. Boring. Shudda saved mother 1 and ryu for E3

    20. -Star Fox Zero: AMAZING segue into it, great showcase, all undermined by it being a SF64 re-imagining and is not an entirely new adventure.
-Super Mario Maker: Another make-your-own-content game but Mario themed, at least it held my attention.
-Yoshi’s Woolly World: Reminds me of Yoshi’s Story, looks decent, might try it.
-Animal Crossing: Amiibo Party: In other words, Stock Problems: The Videogame.
-Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer: Not interested at all.
-Yokai Watch: I know what a yokai is, and this game looks like it was conceived by one of them. Who even wants this?
-Metroid Prime Federation Force/Blast Ball: WHAT THE FUCK EVEN!?
-Zelda: Triforce Heroes: a better-looking Four Swords sequel minus a fourth sword. Not really interested.
-Hyrule Warriors Legends: Thanks for shitting on the Wii U owners who shelled out $60+ for the game by making a 3DS port with all the DLC for free plus 2 new characters all for only $40. Real nice.
-Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon: Meh, never got into it.
-Xenoblade Chronicles X: Maaaaybe I’ll give it a look, after I finish XC3D.
-Fire Emblem Fates: Looks great. I’ll be keeping an eye on that one.
-Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam: Clever title, but I’m not into the Mario RPG titles too much (the only one I really enjoyed was the original Paper Mario). Pass.
      -Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash: REALLY?

Synopsis: MARIO MARIO MARIO MARIO MARIO DISAPPOINTMENT MARIO MARIO

      1. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

“Stock Problems: The Videogame” Pretty much. I can already see only 2 out of 20 amiibo for Animal Crossing will be available. And if we can use the already released amiibo for this game to add non Animal Crossing characters, the name you gave will still fit as there are tons of amiibo with very shitty stock.

    21. It disgusts me how much their delusional minds are wrapped around freakin SMB – A game made 25+ years ago that they cite EVERY FREAKIN MOMENT.

What were you guys -at least- expecting? I truly thought with Splatpon & all, we’d get Mario Sunshine something.

        1. Nintendo Tetrarch Quadramus-NX

          >>>I don’t care what anniversary it is, they are just like those idiotic Spartans in the movie 300 when Xerxes is about to invade Greece and Sparta and these idiots are forced to celebrate the “Karnia” or whatever their holiday was because it was more important than their land and lives>>>

          >>>The stake of the empire should be priority number one, not celebrations when you are losing territory for each day>>>

        2. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

That’s bullshit, though. The Mario stuff alone should have been a pre-E3 video with the Smash stuff taking it’s place. Least then there would have been a ton of hype after the damn event.

      1. I really expected a Metroid or a F-Zero, at least the revival of a franchise that would have pleasantly surprised people. There was absolutely nothing but amiibos and cheap-looking games announced here.

    22. Nintendo’s era is over guys, looks like there is nothing more to see on this part of the industry right now. Maybe they’ll wake up at some point and understand how it works now, but being blind and supporting them in their bullshit is not the best thing to do.
Right now, I’d recommend to just go PC and PS4 or Xbone, because it’s clearly the better choice for people above 18. I’ll wait for Xenoblade, then sell my Wii U and buy a PS4, end of the Nintendo story for me.

        1. This is not how it works. E3 is the biggest video game convention in the world, this is THE place to promote your games and hype the fans about the upcoming stuff, this is where you make the big announcements. Nintendo are, I mean were, giants of this industry, they just embarass themselves and disappoint everybody but Sony and Microsoft’s CEOs by doing such a presentation. This was empty of everything, no announcement, nothing at all but gameplay footage of games that don’t even look good and “developper stories” we don’t give a shit about. Nintendo are done, clueless, that’s what’s up.

      1. I already sold mine and figured if there were to come some awesome Wii U titles later I would just play them on the next console if it is backwards compatible.

        1. Sounds like the best choice, the Wii U only has party games anyway. I’ll wait for Xenoblade and Zelda and have no regret selling this shit after I’m done with them. It’ll be a dead console by then anyway.

        1. More like a 21 year-old guy who’s tired of paying 300€ for a console Nintendo leaves to die a few years after without releasing a single memorable game for it. I’m done with the Mario and Pokémon shit for good, Playstation has been way more appealing to me for years now.

    23. Boom. It was only obvious that Nintendo would have to save a big game’s for the NX or whatever it’s called. Wii U sales probably won’t skyrocket after that E3, so I would imagine a price drop at some point. Make what money they can and try again with NX. At this point, judging by the comments from people who I would consider more hardcore fans of Nintendo than I am (and I love Nintendo. But I don’t love what they’re doing to the image of Nintendo) I would say they’ve roo’d the day for many, many fans.

Oh well, start saving for the NX. Maybe they’ll get it right with that system. Also, as I’ve said before not catering to Nintendo’s older fans is a mistake. It all adds up.

    24. They forget devil third mario and sonic, and other third party support i hope they explain on the next direct.

      1. Actually, Mario & Sonic was already there, but they rehashed the same reveal from the last direct with a few new scenes (archery and boxing). Still could have explained a bit more games and playable characters.

        1. Or they could, y’know, make a REAL Mario and Sonic crossover like we’ve been wanting for years.

The first two Olympics games were enough…

      1. Encyclopedia Dramatica

hello sasori. your friends on the ED forum watched your last video.
You know what’s funny about it?. well, you mentioned nintendrones here would damage control the horror of the digital event, now i read your comment and i remember the video you uploaded the past year.
keep damage controlling like the whore you are!
i think i must tell the /v/irgins about you

    28. I’ve never felt so empty from an e3 until now (Never saw 08). Nintendo had very little new stuff to show that was actually of interest and instead focused on games we’ve known about for weeks if not months. Also why push finished games back for holiday release? We literally have another drought, but this time on BOTH systems. I don’t plan on selling my systems like other people, as thankfully I have a backlog of games to still play, but I don’t blame them for jumping ship and watching to see if the NX will redeem Nintendo. I feel the few third party games we do have coming out are better than the things Nintendo showed. I will definitely get some things like Paper Jam and Wooly World, but things were definitely lackluster. And the amiibo based games are TERRIBLE, I’m assuming they’re free to download or whatever, but why the Hell would you have games based around amiibo when you can’t even keep the darned things in stock and let scalpers have their way with them! You mean to tell me you’ll shut down YouTube accounts for leaks, but not scalpers who rip off your fans and potential customers?

Thank you Nintendo, thank you so much Nintendo for” transforming” our already amazing, coveted franchises into a pile of poo, thanks for giving all Wii U owners a slap to the face, punch to the chest, and a kick in between the legs, thank you so much for the middle finger you’re giving to all your fans, and thank you for killing every fans’ dreams.

    29. worst e3 ever for me..
I was so hyped.. Now I know they are throwing the wii u into a deep deep valley of doom, I can’t deny that THERE ARE awesome games there, and I love it, but nothing new at all sucks.
Star fox looks amazing to play, but it’s toooo N64 u.u It’s too empty, it’s almost the same formula, the graphics don’t amaze at all, it seems that it was made in a rush, it’s my opinion.

    30. I’m more disappointed in the fan’s reactions than Nintendo.

You all are a bunch of entitled brats. A lot of you say things like “Nintendo is no longer meant for anyone above 18”. Well I guess it’s clear no one here is above the age of 10.

Go play your PS4’s if you want then. Perhaps that will cater to you babies better.

      1. If you aren’t disappointed in Nintendo after this presentation, go suck a dick you naive fuck.
Look at this bitch going against the grain. That won’t make you look smarter dimwit. Word.

      2. Ridley 4 Smash DLC!

I can’t believe it. There is actually someone defending Nintendo’s horrible E3 event. lol Without coming off as a dick like pedro, you are a fool for being more disappointed in Nintendo’s fans, who actually pay for them to continue this bullshit, than Nintendo itself. Nintendo dropped the ball tenfold. Hell! The smash direct a couple of days ago should have been in the Nintendo Digital Event. Least that would have made some people hyped after the event ended. They could have also put in the Fatal Frame V trailer, too! Oh & showing something about Devil’s Third would have also been a fantastic move! But no! Nintendo decided to take a big shit right on top of the very people that keep them in business! This loyalty to companies is getting fucking ridiculous! If it isn’t someone sucking a 3rd party’s dick, we got someone sucking Nintendo’s! This industry went from consumers not taking shit from no one as the video game industry crashed during the 80s because people were fed up with the bullshit to people getting right on their hands & knees & taking it right up the ass without even asking for a courtesy reach around! Nintendo was right to use puppets for their digital event because that’s exactly what the industry is full of when it comes to consumers!

Wow… That was not meant to turn into a total snap rant! lol I went from not wanting to come off as a dick to going full blown “Hulk smash!” @.@
