Harvest Moon fans have reason to celebrate today as Natsume has confirmed that the Game Boy Advance title Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town will be heading to the Wii U Virtual Console later this year. For those not in the know, Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town is an improved version of the original Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town which arrived on the North American Wii U Virtual Console in June last year. This revised edition allows you to play as a female character. Here’s what the team at Natsume had to say.

Our First Wii U Virtual Console release – Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town! Karen, Popuri, Rick, Kai, and the entire cast are back in this classic title. Originally released in 2003, fans can dive into this classic right now on their Wii U! We’re also pleased to confirm that More Friends of Mineral Town will be appearing on the Wii U Virtual Console later this year.

    1. Guys I’m not sure if this is a stupid question, but is it possible to change the mode in Ranked Battle from Tower Control back to Splat Zones?

      1. No I don’t think so, you will be able to after the August update. It switches modes every 4 hours along with the stages.

    1. What planet do you live on? Because the 3ds gets way more love than the Wii U and is one of (if not the) best selling system currently.

      1. Well considering Earth is the only planet that can sustain life, I’m going to say Earth. And, I honestly don’t feel like Nintendo has done enough in the way of offering the games of the past to both devices. Im speaking in a overall point, vc for 3ds is a small joke. And that’s my opinion. You are correct on it being a popular system. But the whole what planet bit, a little over the top.

          1. It’s hard to tell here batman. We got no beef Batman, don’t worry. We probably think alike more than you realize.

      1. DeNA should help with that, I believe they said they are going to make and OS that easily allows games to be played on console and handheld, or something like that.
