To celebrate the launch of Super Mario Maker for Wii U on 11th September, Nintendo of Europe is launching all-new hardware and software bundles to give existing fans and new players alike a variety of options to enjoy the unique flagship Wii U title for 2015.

The next evolution of the Super Mario Bros. series, Super Mario Maker for Wii U lets you not only play but also create and share brand new courses. The game wowed the crowds at the annual E3 expo last June and is set to unleash the creativity of generations of Mario fans as it launches just in time for the 30th anniversary of the original Super Mario Bros. game.

Super Mario fans can look forward to the following releases on 11th September:

  1. This is smart for Nintendo to do their make money either way wish is was a custom mario Wii U tho

  2. Can do a Splatoon bundle and a Mario Maker Bundle but never thought of a Smash Bros Bundle…..

  3. Lame Wii U bundle is lame.
Give me a yellow Wii U with an 8-bit Mario imprinted on it’s top.
Or maybe an exclusive 8-bit marionamiibo colored like Luigi included.
Or maybe the system comes with a custom gamepad controller!!!
    That’d really help sell systems.

It includes nothing different from the limited edition game bundle, however, an amiibo is finally coming with the console… not surprised, this is a smart business decision.

    1. Would have been nice if they put a 30th Anniversary of Mario stamp directly in the middle of the Wii U would be awesome.

  4. Nice, too bad North America won’t be getting any bundles. Japan and Europe are the only markets Nintendo caters too enough to make these and other things NA never gets…

  5. If Nintendo released special edition Wii u’s like they do with the 3ds, they probably would’ve sold a lot more to this point. Every bundle come with a black console, even the wind Waker bundle just had a design on the gamepad. Lame

  6. No bundles for America. It cost Nintendo money to create these special editions, and they figure sales are good in U.S…

This game looks amazing, but I am going to wait until a similar bundle comes to the U.S.. Im tired of being f’ed over by NOA.

  7. I wonder why I never seen these bundles for North America? I SO want that amiibo bundle.

  8. I can’t believe how many great opportunities Nintendo had to make cool, special edition (and colors) of Wii U consoles. Yet they seem to think that black is all that matters. That’s the one thing that was awesome about the Nintendo 64. All of those special colors they released in. I love my Pikachu N64. : )
