Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon Launches In US On November 20

Dungeon crawlers, rejoice! The Pokémon Company has announced Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon will launch in the United States on November 20, just in time for the holidays. The 3DS title will be the tenth in the Mystery Dungeon spin-off series that debuted almost a decade ago on the Game Boy Advance. It’s been two years since the latest in the franchise, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, was released for the Nintendo 3DS in US and Europe – and we gave it a better than average review score to boot.

The upcoming spin-off title will debut in Japan on September 17, while Pokemon fans in Europe and Australia sadly won’t be able to pick up their dungeon adventure until early 2016. Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon’s announcement release was just one of many featured in Nintendo’s US holiday lineup reported earlier today.

With dungeon layouts that change every time you enter them, the fun never ends! Battle alongside Legendary and Mythical Pokémon to save the world from a crisis in a tale of unprecedented scale.

You’ll get to pick one of 20 Pokémon to become your partner. With the Pokémon you choose, head out on a quest to encounter all 720 Pokémon, including Legendary and Mythical Pokémon. Set off on a grand adventure as you explore ever-changing Mystery Dungeons and connect with Pokémon to save the Pokémon world!

    1. The plot was great though.

No surprise, since GtI was developed by Spike Chunsoft, who created masterful stories with 999:Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors and Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward.

      1. The gameplay was simply too boring though. It felt so slow and restrictive, as compared to past PMD games.

  3. There are many different types of demos; narration, commercial, audiobook, animation, etc. Much less expensive than, well, undertaking an actual flyover. The three-dimensional graphics mainly involves the display of multimedia effects.
