A small software update is available now for Super Mario Maker. The patch – Ver. 1.10 – applies some unspecified adjustments that Nintendo says will deliver a more pleasant gaming experience to players. Super Mario Maker was released earlier this month for Wii U. The game allows you to create your own Mario levels by using the Wii U GamePad controller’s touch screen to insert enemies, blocks, pipes and other items.

I wonder if they patched out the spike door glitch that makes you completely invincible.
Yeah, I tried it and it seems like I can’t enter the door on that last frame, and I am pretty sure I done it right.
I have a feeling this might be prepping for some DLC down the line. things like scale platforms, angry sun, slopped floors, and adding water elements (water jet flatforms, waterfalls, and water areas within non water levels.) still lots more enemies they could add, also other art styles, power ups, and allowing amiibo in other art styles would be cool
Yeah, you’re right, makes sense DLC for Mario Maker. Like you said, there are lots of elements from all Mario games that can be made available.
it would also be nice to be able to save levels to the pixel Mario amiibo and drop them into friends wii U by taping.
I’m still hoping for the amiibo sprites in other art styles… I’d love a Samus sprite in the NSMB art style…

I actually have this game now. But I’m SO swamped with video and DVD editing that I haven’t had a chance to even look at it.
Other than Bayonetta 2, MK8, Hyrule Warriors, Mario Maker is the best thing to play on the Wii U. Really addictive!

Has anyone tried the invincibility spike door glitch since the update? Hmm I might try it out now..
I tried and it didn’t work but maybe I did it wrong.
One of these future updates better bring the ability to use the amiibo costumes in styles other than 8-bit.
