Tomorrow, October 3rd, will be your last chance to vote for the next Super Smash Bros. fighter in the online ballot. A Reddit user ran their own poll to see what the end results may look like, and results from this poll showed Shantae come out on top, followed by Shovel Knight and Veteran Wolf. It will be interesting to see the true results from the official poll, which should be announced in the coming weeks.

I voted for EVERY character that I would like to play in Smash Bros. Probably about 70 different times. I went nuts. Might as well, right? It’s not like these ballots come out all the time.
Is it even possible to vote that many times? I think they let you continue to vote as much as you want but maybe only the first actually counts.
People would probably complain about Dr. Eggman being a Bowser Jr. clone.

Yeah, your right about Dr. Eggman, but they could put him in a mecha suit instead of a vehicle. Maybe his suit could transform into a vehicle and he could be the first character in Smash 4 that transforms since they removed Zelda/Sheik and Samus/ZSS. He would also probably use more lasers and missiles like ROB instead of the wacky items B Jr. uses.
I too would like to see more F-Zero representation. Captain Falcon is an awesome character and he needs a rival!

Yesss! Ivy is like… one of my favorite video game characters in general. She’s sexy, strong, fierce, immortal, and kicks ass. I would love to see her in Smash with that whip sword of hers. She’d fit right in next to Zero Suit Samus, Shulk, Ryu and Wii Fit Trainer as a “showy” character who may appear more sexually expressed than the other cartoony characters.
I’d play any character that gets in.

Banjo and Kazooie are owned by Microsoft. There’s no way they would be chosen unless the world was truly coming to an end.
Phil Spencer said they were open for negotiations with Nintendo.
But the question is how much is Microsoft asking for from Nintendo for the use of the Banjo IP? If the price tag is too high I doubt Nintendo would even bother but Banjo and Kazooie would be awesome
Not to mention if that’s the case and M$ charges a fortune to use them, he’ll probably end up being twice as expensive as the other DLC fighters…

Microsoft might not charge them at all. Microsoft would LOVE to get the free representation in one of Nintendo’s biggest and greatest IPs. People go out and buy games to characters in Smash Bros. Just look at Fire Emblem, Kid Icarus and Sonic. I’m sure Metal Gear, Megaman, Street Fighter and Pac-man related games picked up in sales and recognition as well due to Smash Bros.

This kinda annoys me, because I was thinking the Smash Ballot closed MONTHS ago. There was many times when I was wanting to vote for more characters, but didn’t because of thinking it was over. But I did vote for several when the Ballot first opened. I highly doubt that any of the characters I voted for will make it through, except maybe King K. Rool.

Call me crazy but I really think Shantae has great chance of getting in. She would be a perfect fit and Bayonetta, King K. Rool, Samarai Goroh (F-Zero), Blanca (Streetfighter), Shovel Knight, and Wonder Red would great additions as well
