Super Smash Bros. Version 1.1.2 Update Fixes Diddy Kong Glitch

Nintendo has released a new patch for Super Smash Bros which is titled Version 1.1.1. The patch fixes an annoying issue with Diddy Kong which made the loveable character invincible from grabs and throws. For this to work the player controlling Diddy Kong had to use a shield against a multi hit move. This issue has now been fixed and the patch should be rolling out to everyone.

  1. What the Wii U was too weak to keep the patch in so they had to redue it? Yeah i figured 1gig struggled holding all that responsibility. At least Sony knew to give their console ENOUGH power so it wouldnt struggle. Unlike Project Café which is slightly more powerful than PS3. Bravo Nintendo the Wii U is the first console to get you out of top 100 all because yall were cheap on horsepower. Now to make up for tour stupidity you got to make up for it by bringing the NX.

        >>>It’s Jtz, he says the same thing over and over with his favourite words “R&D”, “2008”, “Project Café” and “Gigs”>>>

So I’m not the only one that realized tobiyyah is JTZ. He’s making it way too obvious that it’s him.

  2. So sad to see that even with the latest nerfs to Diddy Kong he still remains to be one of the most powerful Fighters in the game.
But then again he is a really simple and easy character to use.

    1. I mean you’re extremely wrong. He struggles against basically all top tiers and you have to try very hard to win in tournament with him. Even Zer0 struggles winning with him.

      1. Oh, I didn’t necessarily mean that he was “the” most powerful fighter.
I’m saying he’s still a very strong character regardless of the nerfs he received back then.
        Also, you’re half right.
He doesn’t struggle against all the top tiers. Just Sheik and Zero Suit Samus.
He has little to no issues at all against Rosalina & Luma.

  3. Rogue Master XenoRidley X3

Another nod to the fact Nintendo is playing catch up. Can’t even keep a patch working when a new update comes along. Then again, patches most likely come undone all the time when a new update comes along. Anyway, do all games need to be updated for DLC to even work? From what I’ve seen, only Nintendo 1st party titles need updates for DLC to be accessible.
