Yesterday was the day that Marty McFly travelled to in the film Back to the Future, and Nintendo hasn’t forgotten about it. In Back to the Future Part 2, Marty comes across a Wild Gunman arcade machine – The shooting game that was originally released in North America on October 18, 1985, and used the Zapper light gun.
The title has been re-released onto the Wii U Virtual console today in Europe, so you can celebrate with some retro gaming. You can check out the part of the film were Marty comes across the arcade machine below.

There’s SO many games that I had no idea were also in arcades before. Most games I never heard of until they released on home consoles.
Kinda random but
I think the director said he knew that ,realistically, there wasn’t going to be any flying cars, hover boards etc. He just wanted the future to be dramatically futuristic.
“That’s like a baby toy”
I guess they never heard of arcades.. That’s sad.
