Black Friday is fast approaching and we’ve covered a number of the deals that will be available to US consumers. We have now learnt that Walmart is apparently selling The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D and Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo 3DS for $25 each. So if you’ve yet to pick up these fantastic games then be sure to pay Walmart a visit on Black Friday or visit the website.
Thanks to Jason for the tip
Why do people in the UK say learnt not learned? Do you pronounce it learnt? Do you think that we spell if weird? Just curious:)
You pronounce it like “burnt”.
They’re both past tenses of ‘learn’ (Like ‘He burned the toast’, and ‘He burnt the toast’). What likely is occur ed is that some textbook and/or dense population in America pronounced it the ‘other way’, or like other portions of the language, it underwent several changes in it’s transition from British to American English due to influence from varying/foreign cultures, new formalities, etc.
I live in the United States. And I’ve heard MANY people say “learnt” instead of “learned”. But I myself usually say “learned”. What bugs me is when people from the UK say things like “I’ll learn you a new lesson”. Instead of “I’ll teach you a new lesson”. They always use the word “learn” in the place of “teach. I’m surprised they don’t call teachers “learners”.
Why is it apparently like its God sent 15 bucks ain’t that big of discount considering its Black Friday last year and previous years I was getting 3ds titles for 15 dollars
Because it’s the best we’re getting this year, lol. Black Friday this year seems underwhelming for anyone not looking to buy a console.
I know it my only hope is Kmart price matching
Kmart doesn’t sell video games anymore. At least, not in stores.
