The Latest Trailer For Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Focuses On ‘Just The Fax’

The latest trailer for Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is out now and focuses on delivering “Just the Fax.” Hopefully it makes the wait more bearable for North American consumers, who don’t get the game until January 22. Available now in Europe and Japan, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is the newest entry in the Mario & Luigi series and features elements from the Paper Mario universe. Players must learn to utilize the talents of Mario, Luigi and Paper Mario to tackle a number of quests to separate and save the two worlds.

  1. Why is this another game that Japan and Europe already have but North America has to wait longer (like Woolly World)? Is Reggie/NoA gonna come out and say “we waited until after the holiday shopping season because games don’t sell during the holidays”?

      1. One of the things I hate (besides the obvious) about games releasing in Europe before they release in North America is that, if I want to post comments about the game (here on MyNintendoNews) after it releases, I rarely get any replies. Because Europeans already got it AGES ago, and have already posted all the comments they want to post. It just sucks when there’s nobody to talk to after a new game releases.

        1. we in Europe has the same issue when a game is release in NoA first. Welcome to our world, we had this issue for more then 30 years. You won’t have any sympathy from me, as the US guy used to tell me when I was make the same comment as you: “Stop crying and endure the pain” or “I don’t care about Europe (me me me attitude)”

      2. You know, the bigger question is, what is stopping them? The European translation is English, therefore we should have the game here already right? Unless they want to replace the dialog with stupid meme’s or sayings like they did with Triforce heroes…Unless there was some game breaking bug they found I can’t find a reason why they are waiting. It does suck too because the internet will be filled with spoilers and while we wait, people will have spoiled the game rotten. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of such a backwards way of releasing content. I don’t know how much the Japan or Europe side of things are, but it seems like lately America has been getting the hardest blow from Nintendo with how we are being treated. From games being released several months after being released in Europe and Japan, to the whole Club Nintendo fiasco, to just the way Nintendo of America has treated it’s fans in general. They keep not listening to the fans, their customers and it really needs to stop. Surely they must be seeing how many people have been complaining about this.

      3. maybe because the rating of the same game is slower in some countries than other (one example among other). Also by phasing the release they can focus on the marketing (don’t laugh) etc

  2. Jaded Ridley X3 {I'm not whining, you suckers... *cough* ..poor souls! I've just been driven insane by Nintendo failing me one too many times this gen!}

    Ugh… NoA has been on a nice downward spiral ever since Reggie refused to bring over Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, & Pandora’s Tower… Is it ever going to stop..? It’s almost like he’s punishing us for forcing him to bring those three games to the States. Nothing worse than a business treating it’s fans & customers like trash because they seem to hate giving us what WE want. WWE is being the same exact way. Only difference is WWE is doing it to not just America but the UK, Japan, etc. Microsoft seems to be the only American company that I pay attention to that isn’t showing signs of being pissed at their fanbase for resisting what they want to do with their product. In fact, they’ve been doing whatever they can for the last two years to please their fans. We need a Phil Spencer of our own at NoA, damn it!

    1. Perhaps what Microsoft is doing is, in their minds, atonement for what they tried to pull with the One. Nobody was pleased with that.

      Now Nintendo needs to make their atonement- make the NX what it needs to be, focus on what hardcore supporters they have left, make the games we want THE WAY we want them, and stop rushing stuff out the door when it clearly isn’t ready (I’m lookin’ at you, Ultra Trash).
