Update: Nintendo UK Store has emailed me to say that the Shovel Knight amiibo has been delayed. They are expecting it to be with customers on December 14th.
Lots of people are looking forward to getting their hands on the first third party amiibo, but it seems as though customers who pre-ordered the Shovel Knight amiibo via GAME are being told that their orders have been delayed. Amazon and the Nintendo UK Store have the amiibo listed with a December 11th release date, but GAME has informed customers via email that it has been delayed until December 18th. The reason behind this is currently unknown.
We just wanted to let you know the release of Shovel Knight amiibo has been delayed until 18/12/2015. Your pre-order is still valid and hasn’t been cancelled. You don’t need to make any adjustments to your order.
