Kotaku List Their 12 Favourite Games Of 2015

Kotaku is one of the last big gaming publications to list their favourite games of last year. It was a bumper year for gamers and there’s one game that seems to be featured in the majority of end of year lists and that game is Splatoon. The games chosen by Kotaku are simply in alphabetical order but they deem these to be the crème de la crème of video games in 2015.

  • Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
  • BoxBoy
  • Bloodborne
  • Destiny: The Taken King
  • Life Is Strange
  • Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
  • Rocket League
  • Splatoon
  • Super Mario Maker
  • Transformers: Devastation
  • Undertale
  • The Witcher III

  1. Once again, Splatoon is on another one of these lists. I always thought it looked pretty decent since its reveal, but I don’t know exactly how good it is.

    1. It’s a fun game, best shooter I’ve ever played tbh

also, it’s nice to see that transformers game on a list, I just started playing it the other week and it’s really fun

  2. Jaded Ridley X3 {I'm not whining, you suckers... *cough* ..poor souls! I've just been driven insane by Nintendo failing me one too many times this gen!}

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate & Life Is Strange of 2015 are well on their way to be on my favorite games of 2015 list once I actually get farther in the games… in 2016. xD

    1. You still got some catching up to do.
      -The Witcher 3
      -MGSV:PP
      -Bloodborne
      -Dying Light
      -Rainbow Six Seige
      -Fallout 4
      -Until Dawn
      -Just Cause 3
      -Batman Arkham Knight.

      This year:
      -Street Fighter V
      -Uncharted 4
      -Horizon: Zero Dawn
      -Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
      -Mirrors Edge: Catalyst
      -Hitman
      -Final Fantasy XV (possibly)
      -Watch Dogs 2 (possibly)
Yup. That’s over $700. Better start saving! (And this isn’t even counting season passes or any indie games you might like to get too)

Not really. The Witcher 3 is the only one from last year I’m concerned with and maybe Until Dawn. As for 2016, I’m more concerned with 2016’s line up of Horizon: Zero Dawn, Final Fantasy XV, Hitman, maybe Watch Dogs 2, & maybe Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst.

        1. I thought last year was pretty good. But no doubt this year is going to be better. As for The Witcher 3, I think that game kind of spoiled me a bit. I thought it was so amazing that other games I play this year just won’t feel as good. :/
