We all knew it was going to happen eventually, but sources known to Kotaku have stated that Watch Dogs 2 is indeed real and it is coming this year. The new game will be set in San Fransisco and as you would expect details are very scarce. The original Watch Dogs came to Wii U but I don’t believe it sold particularly well so it’s all up in the air whether this will come to Nintendo platforms. If the NX launches later this year then there’s a likelihood it could come to that.
A possible Ubisoft substitution for this fall’s big Assassin’s Creed could be Watch Dogs 2, which we hear will be out later this year and set in San Francisco.
Oh great we have another Assassin’s Creed in our hands.
I HIGHLY doubt this’ll come Nintendo’s way, along with any other major product from this company.
Of note, I still need to open up my sealed copy and play it.
You never know, could be releasing for the NX if the NX is coming out this year.
Personally, I’m interested because the first game had so much promise but it failed, however, with the new Rainbow Six game actually playing out pretty well and the latest Assassin’s Creed game actually being FUN, I have high hopes for the next Watch_Dogs game.

Remember the last one? Should’ve just stick with the superior and funner GTA5. BTW, I don’t have Xenoblade and don’t plan to get it. I quit remember? I’m just waiting for this NX to be a major fuck up to prove that I was right about Nintendo stop giving a shit about actual gamers which is also why I’m waiting for Alienware to become cheaper so I get buy one. Steam seems to be the only plausible gaming platform left that has great games, sales, universal account system, no BS DRM like Xbox or EA Origin, mods and FREE ONLINE PLAY plus the console parts is upgradable.

At this point, I’m fucking sick of them. Oh and porting Rayman who everyone didn’t forget about the Wii U port debacle is just a messed up way to tease us again. We’re not falling for it and I so bet you that they’ll port Watchdogs 2 to Switch AFTER GTA5 is ported which is rumored to happen and best part is, this rumor is coming from the same guy who called out Switch getting L.A Noire weeks before it was revealed.

Ubisoft will probably do a lot better on this one due to the huge amount of backlash they got with the last one. I saw my brother play it and it was decent. I even liked the soundtrack. But the problem is that it was not the game that people were promised. Of course, the consoles we have today and the fact that it’s made for last gen as well obviously did have a bit of an effect on the graphics. But still, there was no reason as to why not even the PC version looked as good. With this next game, I hope Ubisoft learned from their mistakes and finally give us the Watch Dogs that we never got.

there is no chance 0% that watch dog 2 coming on any Nintendo plateform. To be honest Ubisoft shot themselves on the foot with the wii U version of watch dog. 6 months to add the map on the controller and no advertisement whatsoever. I am one of those people who wait and see the review of this version and being utterly disappointed, when I hear the wii U gamepad was only use for the map
Yeah, and then they bitched about nobody buying the game, maybe if somebody had a way of knowing when it was coming out they would have bought it.
Plus, Watch Dogs was a disgusting showcase of hypocrisy; first they delayed the Wii U version of Rayman Legends for 7 months so “It could launch everywhere at once”, but then they released Watch Dogs on all platforms and just delayed the Wii U version for 6 months, only to deliver a shitty, unstable port.
Glad the press ripped them a new one, and no self-respecting Nintendo user will buy anything from them ever again.

iwata stated that we will hear a little bit about nx this year, no specs or release date, i doubt that nx will be released this year, most likely next year or 2018, i would say mid to late 2017.
No matter what platform or what release day you wanted for this game, it was irrelevant. In hindsight, Ubisoft did WiiU owners a favor. By the time it released on WiiU, we knew it was a crap game with only a few people finding enjoyment out of it. We were spared from the glitchfest, although I did have a few good laughs at the youtube footage.
As far as them only using the Gamepad as a Map… Nintendo has committed the worst gamepad crimes, so You shouldn’t throw stones in a glass house. Ubisoft did more with the gamepad, as did EA, fuck, even Treyarch… Nintendo should be ashamed of itself. (with the exception of Nintendoland)
No way in hell this is coming to Nintendo consoles considering how badly the first game sold. The NX would need a huge install base before Ubi considers it.

O.O Mistwalker? The Last Story’s developer!? Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit! Please be a sequel to The Last Story! That game might have been about Lazulis Island’s corruption but the game also pretty much said the entire empire Lazulis Island was part of is corrupted. The game always gave me the impression there was more to the overall “last story.” A sequel could be called The Last Story: Chapter 2. Oh who am I kidding. It’s probably just going to be another mobile game for Android or iOS, anyway. Must keep expectations low!

This was OLD news, maybe not the San Fransicso part, but Ubisoft stated they make a game they plan to make more then one of.
If they do Watch Dogs 2 right, I’ll definitely give the game a try on my PS4. As for the original Watch Dogs, I might give it a chance on my PS4 IF they fixed any bugs & glitches with it. Oh & I won’t be buying it new, either, but used. They won’t get a penny from me with the original game with how little respect they had for us when making it.
Oh who am I kidding!? I won’t be getting the original at all because there are other games far more important to me to get right now on the PS4 so I may never have any money to buy the game & with the sequel coming soon, why bother. Only time will tell, I guess.
