Nintendo is bringing three classic NES games to the North American Virtual console tomorrow, including Wild Gunman, Hogan’s Alley, and the Adventures of Bayou Billy. The original versions of Wild Gunman and Hogan’s Alley were played completely with the NES Zapper, while only some sections of The Adventures of Bayou Billy made use of the famous peripheral. In their Virtual Console re-releases, this functionality is replicated by the Wii Remote’s motion controls. Each game also features off-TV play. So, if your down for some sharp shooting, make sure to pick up these gems for $4.99 each. You can watch gameplay below if your interested.

Laughable. Everyone else gets Super Mario RPG and we’re getting three NES games probably 1% of gamers actually want or even know about. NOA is a new brand of stupid. Honestly, at this point, I just laugh at the virtual console. It’s like those really dumb characters that you grow to love because it’s hilarious how stupid they are.
I just read even worse. Europe is getting Wave Race 64. I love that game. The punchlines get more and more painful from the joke that is NOA haha.
I HATE NINTENDO OF AMERICA!!! >< They put shitty games on the Vitural Console.. and EU Put awesome GAMES!!!
Imagine how butt raped Snes owners must have felt in 96′ when they didn’t get Mario RPG the first time around then ✌🏽️
I had one in 96… Never got the game though. Would like to play it now since I didn’t have a chance when I was younger.
We never had the chance since NoE didn’t release it in Europe, I think the rolls have certainly reversed as of late.
Both regions should get all the good stuff. I don’t know why they give some awesome stuff to one region and not the other. And Japan gets even better stuff half the time.
The only games I wish would appear on Virtual Console are Snow Bros. (NES and/or Sega Genesis/arcade versions) and Snow Bros. 2: With New Elves. Snow Bros. is one of my favorite NES games, and it never got enough recognition.
i own that game for the NES
The Adventures of Bayou Billy… Good times, good times. Of course, I never got past the swamp level if I remember correctly. But I’m willing to give this game another shot since I’m much better at video games these days then what I use to be. Maybe I can actually beat it now. If not, oh well. It’s only a few bucks.
That game aside, the rest is total crap. Thanks a lot for more awesome virtual console titles, NintenD’OH! *facepalm* of ‘Murica!
Ok, given the rest of the comments here I almost feel embarrassed saying this, but I’m really excited about Wild Gunman. I’m awesome at that game and I was really disappointed that they got it in Europe back in October and we didn’t. Obviously, we’ll get Mario RPG soon and, even if we never did, you can play it in Wii Mode.
