Get ready for some more Pokken Tournament goodness. A new Pokemon fighter for the arcade-style fighting game will be revealed on January 15. It will be thirteenth playable character when it gets added to the roster, which includes Blaziken, Charizard, Gardevoir, Gengar, Lucario, Machamp, Pikachu, Sceptile, Shadow Mewtwo, Suicune and Weavile. Pokken Tournament is set to launch this spring on Wii U.
The roster is still a bit too small for me. I’d like something between 18-25. 20 characters would be great, considering it’s the first entry in the series and all.
To be fair, they’re really only looking for Pokemon that can fight in a Tekken Styled game.
I’d really love to see Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan and Hitmontop
Yeah, like Suicune. Totally Tekken.
If Suicune can be a fucking fighter, I demand Eevee gets turned into a fighter, too, instead of a support partner.

There are tons of great weird choices to make. Imagine an Octillery or a Muk/Garbodor.
Hitmonlee would be nice, too. A fighting game without a Bruce Lee type of character would be a very depressing missed opportunity.
Hitmonlee is one of my favorite fighters. I’d love to see him get added.

Pollen is going to good fighting game they should include best pokemon characters from the series only few is OK will still be fun game as you can see from trailer’s game looks stunning and plays great.

Scyther would had been terrific. But it’s a first game. I already know sells will be so high they’ll make a sequel.

He has better stats and moveset than Machamp, and fulfills the same role of late game sweeper.
My best guess right now is Swampert since we already got Blaziken and Sceptile, and Sceptile was revealed in a similar way.
If they want me to pick this one up they need at least 25 to 30 characters.
Definitely gonna be one of the better Wii U games this year.
Didn’t you sell your Wii U nearly two years ago? Or you managed to get a new one as of now.
Yeah. Don’t have a new one yet either. I’m keeping a close eye on its exclusives to see if I actually want it again or maybe I’ll move on to the “NX”.
