If you’re after a slightly cheaper New Nintendo 3DS XL then you may want to check out the deals on the Nintendo Online Store. You can get a refurbished New Nintendo 3DS XL for $170. However, it should be noted that Amazon are currently selling brand new models for $187, but if you want to save a little cash then head on over to the Nintendo Online Store.

Is it specified whether the refurbished 3DS comes with a charger? If so, it would make for an even more enticing deal than buying a new one which doesn’t come with one.
Just checked. It does NOT come with an AC Adapter/charger. There is a link at the bottom that sends you to the charger they are selling on the site, though. It’s $9.99. If you get both on their sad excuse of an online store, you’ll end up paying $197.94. Shipping & handling is $5 & the taxes added on is $12.95. It’s still cheaper on the Nintendo store, though, as Amazon has a bundle of the handheld & an ac adapter for around $207.99, not counting S&H & taxes. So no. This isn’t as big of a great deal as they’d have you believe.
But to be fair to Nintendo, you’d end up paying around 220 bucks if you bought it brand stinking new at Wal-Mart or something. So around 20 bucks off is better than nothing.
Both deals are really expensive, Nintendo needs a price drop. That and include a charger with it. I got mine used with a charger and Monster Hunter 4 pre-installed for $100.
