LEGO Marvel Avengers released today across multiple platforms including the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U. Along with the game’s release is a brand new launch trailer, which is action packed with comedy parts thrown in. You can check it out below:
The title is based on the following Marvel films: The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Captain America: The First Avenge, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

As a big MCU fan, I might get this, depending on reviews.
But I’m really curious, what makes this game any better than the LEGO Avengers that was based on the Marvel Comics (and therefore had legal access to a lot more superheroes)? I didn’t get that one, as the demo didn’t really appeal to me, but it seems like this is a downgraded version, as it’s based directly on the movies…
