Good news for gamers in North America as Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is finally making its way to the Wii U Virtual Console in the United States. The game is also out on the European Wii U Virtual Console this week. The game will arrive on the Wii U eShop on Thursday and will be priced up at $7.99.
When Marche and his friends open an ancient magical tome, their small town is transformed into a fantasy-filled kingdom known as Ivalice. Guide Marche and his clan against countless foes, and discover the wonders of Ivalice. Build up your party, master abilities and summons, and learn tactical combat to win in battle.

I’ve never played the game, or any of the Final Fantasy games outside of Threatrhythm, but at least we’re getting a good game. I’m still waiting for Super Mario 64 to hit NA, and hopefully the final week of the Warm Up sale will be great.
Double comment. Ignore the second post. -.-
You should give it a chance. It’s very newcomer-friendly, and it’s a very good way to learn the basics of Final Fantasy (jobs and spells, for example) without needing to invest many hours at a time to make progress.
It is my VERY FIRST FF game, and a damn good one with content that can easily last you 100+ hours.

Shit. What did you do all of the 90’s?
I was born in the late 90s, so I missed the SNES/NES era, only brushed the 64 era, and my first three consoles I had were the Gameboy color, GameCube, and Playstation. Of course I’ve played a lot of old VC titles and classics, but I never got into FF.
Fair. You should play them if you can. This title ain’t bad either, even if it’s a strategy game.
These hoes ain’t loyal..
All we need now to make me happy in terms of the Virtual Console is DKC 3 GBA (for the soundtrack alone); Final Fantasy 1, 2 (or 4), and 3 (or 6); Mario and Luigi Bowser’s Inside Story; and Pokemon Snap with Gamepad controls (a big stretch).
