This week’s Japanese software and hardware sales are now in thanks to Media Create. It’s been an interesting week this week as there’s been a number of new releases. The only one for Nintendo platforms is Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash which entered at number three. Also something to note is the fact that the PlayStation Vita was the best-selling video game platform this week beating the Nintendo 3DS and the PlayStation 4.

Zelda doesn’t really do big numbers in Japan. It tends to kill over seas though.
you forgot to mentioned, USA and most of Europe (i.e.Sweden, Norway, Finland,…) expect France and germany where we know the ranking is a bit different than the rest.
Hopefully when TPHD and Starfox Zero comes out sales will increase. If they announce a paper Mario Wii U in the vein of TTYD that would definitely generate hype and interest.
That’s a surprising amount of Mario Tennis sales. Maybe they’ll add online doubles matches now?
