If finally being able to freely battle with your favorite Pokemon isn’t incentive enough to snatch up Pokken Tournament as soon as humanly possible, here’s an extra nudge: GameStop is offering an epic double-sided poster with pre-orders of physical copies of the game. Act fast though, as quantities for the poster are extremely limited. The retailer is even suggesting that customers call their local store to check stock before reserving their copy. You can get a closer look at the poster below, and pre-order the game here.

The shit at the bottom of the poster turns me off of pre-ordering. But how does pre-ordering work. Do they ship the shit the day that it launches?
Usually. But some places take longer to ship.
I mean longer to deliver.
Ew I’d rather buy it off the fucking eshop.
If you don’t care about digital or physical, then by all means, do the eshop.
Should I pre-order this on Amazon (I get 20% off with Prime) or pay the full $60 for the poster?
I’d suggest doing it on Amazon Prime. 20% off is a way better deal than paying in full and getting a poster. I preordered at gamestop only because I have a power up rewards pro and I traded in a few games during their 50% extra trade in so I only paid a little over $20. IMO I think Amazon Prime will be more beneficial than gamestop in the long run now.
That depends on if you feel the poster is worth paying what you’d save on Amazon. 20% off is about $12. A poster goes from $6-10 typically. So you’d be paying a little more than a poster typically costs in store but it’s probably not going to be printed again either. Where it’s not such a large amount difference it’s worth it for the poster if you like it, especially since it’s likely the only way you’ll get one. If you don’t care then just get it from Amazon. Either way you’ll get the Mewtwo Amiibo Card from a first print copy! :)
Don’t forget you also get the Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card in first-print copies! I pre-ordered to make sure I got him, so I’m glad to see I’ll be getting a poster too! The side with the gamepad looks awful though, it looks more like an ad… for a game I have to buy to get it anyways. I’ll definitely be hanging up the reverse side.
I just want to be able to pre-download it tbh
Off the topic, does anybody know of any good external hard drives I can get for the Wii U at a reasonable price? I can’t even do any updates or ANYTHING because my Wii U memory is full. I’ve seen a hard drive at Gamestop, but I don’t know if it’s any good? Been putting off getting one for the longest time because of not knowing anything about them.
Basically you want to make sure you get something with a dedicated power source aka an AC power adapter that plugs into your while. You could with a Y cord to power your hard drive but I wouldn’t recommend it. I tried a Y-cord first and after about 3 months my hard drive crashed and I lost all my save files. I’ve had my 2TB hard drive with AC adapter for about two years now and haven’t had any problems. Here’s an article that might help: http://kotaku.com/the-best-external-hard-drives-for-your-wii-u-1616444509
this is even more helpful, straight from nintendo’s official site: http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1359/~/what-external-storage-devices-can-be-used-with-wii-u%3F
*plugs into your wall lol
Cool! Thanks for the info!
But DANG! They’re all SO much more expensive than what I had in mind. And I would NEVER need 1TB or 2TB HDD just for my Wii U. Even a 500GB HDD would be just fine for me.
Yeah you should probably be able to find a 500gb at a decent price. I got a 2TB for $99 because it was on sale, but I don’t think I would ever fill that up even if I downloaded every single Wii U game lol
