SEGA Tried Working With Capcom & Bandai-Namco On Wii Virtual Console Releases

The Wii Virtual Console had a lot of titles from many developers, including SEGA, Capcom, and Bandai-Namco. However, it turns out that SEGA wanted to do more. SEGA’s Yosuke Okunari mentioned in an interview that they had tried to negotiate with some publishers, including Capcom and Bandai-Namco. Unfortunately, the negotiations didn’t go through. The company contemplated negotiating again when the 3DS arrived, but “business-wise, nothing really came together”.
