According to the latest issue of Famitsu, Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice will get a new DLC in Japan, which is called Turnabout Across Time. It will be free from June 30th to July 20th and will become paid afterwards. The DLC will see the return of Larry and Phoenix vs. Edgeworth.
Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice will release on Nintendo 3DS in Japan on June 6th, followed by an exclusive release on the 3DS eShop in North America and Europe in September.

Here’s hoping for more than just 1 DLC case this time round.
Technically, there was more than one- the second DLC case never left Japan because those who “didn’t understand Japanese culture” wouldn’t understand the case.
And yet that same game had an entire case revolving around Yokai.
I recall hearing that it was almost trivia of actual locations around Japan though, so that would somewhat explain it
what kind of game is this?
Mystery text-ish adventure type.
Visual Novel
Awesome.
Get it.

Are these games worthwhile? Do they have a decent amount of content and are they challenging?
Each game usually has a total of five cases and each one might take three to four days depending on how much time you have. As for whether is challenging or not, I find myself guessing a lot and having to look up walkthroughs from time to time, so I’d say it is.
I put 45 hours into Dual Destinies (with DLC). I’d say it’s worth it.
That said, you might want to play the previous games before jumping onto the new ones. They are plot-heavy (duh).
Yes, I find them to be good games with good stories.
I highly recommend you begin with the original trilogy- I believe they are on the 3DS eshop as a bundle package. 3 full games for $30, doesn’t get much better than that.
I still wish the Great Ace Attorney had plans of being localized. I was looking forward to that one.
Just get the fan-translation ROM if that finishes; that’s what we did with Mother 3.
