  1. Question for Metroid fans: how good is the single player CAMPAIGN in Metroid Prime: Hunters? I’ve played and loved all the 2D and 3D metroids except this one, but I know it’s substantially different from the rest, so I wanted to see if it’s worth getting.

    1. Hunters’s single player mode is definitely not its strong point, but it wasn’t terrible. Multiplayer was the main focus for this one, and for the most part that was good, and it was always possible to add bots in local multiplayer, even up to 3 so you could practice against the computer and try out the other hunters. Though there is no multiplayer of any kind available in this emulation, if we can still at least fill a match with CPU players, it might be worth getting at ten bucks.

    2. its pretty decent, i will be honest, i’ve played hunters on a ds flashcard though then it was an r4-sdhc, i currently have an r4i that worked on a 3ds but because of the super turbo ultra championship stability it doesnt work so i have to rely on my fat ds, i do plan on getting a dsi xl in case my fat ds stops working and i do plan on upgrading my 3ds sometime this year, close to the holidays

  2. I played the hell out of the online mode. Sunk hours and hours into it. I personally liked the story. The Sniper class Alien had an invisibility function that made using that character soooo fun to use.

  3. Simple player campaign wasn’t bad at all. I thought that many of the levels were well done. Multi-player is a blast but single player is still very good. It’s definitely a good addition to you’re Metroid library.
