Nintendo has released the official box art for Mario Party: Star Rush. The game was streamed live on Nintendo’s Treehouse E3 stream. Nintendo played some mini games and an area called Toad Scramble. The recently announced Super Mario amiibo will be compatible with the game, including the amiibo for Waluigi. We included the box art for the game down below, so feel free to check it out.
E3 2016: Here’s More Info & The Box Art For Mario Party: Star Rush

I can’t watch the streaming right now. I know the characters move at the same time in this one, but do they move together? As in, by car?
If you thought about the cart bullshit from MP10, they threw it to the fire after MP10’s flop and gone for a FE-like map system, basically every player rolls their dice and moev a certain number of tiles
THANK GOODNESS. Now they can begin to fix this series. It needs to return to its former glory.
You sure that’s official? I have that same picture on my wall. It came with a cake. Nintendo isn’t one to reuse artwork are they?
Toad scramble looked pretty fun.
Not going to say it looks promising, because I won’t believe we have a good Mario Party before I play it. But I’ll say this: The “always your turn” sounds a lot better than the car-gimmick.
Still wish we could just go back to board games…
If Hudson didn’t die the series would have been bashed for beeing the same everytime *shrugs*
I guess it would. But even if it was being milked before, at least it was fund to play :/
Box art looks lazy. .. its just old renders trying to look new
When they bring back the board game mechanics, then I’ll care. Til then, no thanks. Same with Paper Mario. Bring back the RPG element then we’ll talk. Otherwise, both of these franchises are dead to me.
||Keep in mind…that this information only explained that mode…not the main mode…||
people said they wanted them to bring back the car from mario party 9
This game better a return to the old style mario party or it will be a pass for me. Get rid of the cart and other stupid gimmicks. Get back to collecting stars and coins on fun boards and better minigames.
It’s gonna be hard to go back to the old style of Mario Party when everyone can move AT THE SAME TIME. It’s been so far removed from board games that it isn’t even funny. :/
