E3 2016: Here’s More Info & The Box Art For Mario Party: Star Rush

Nintendo has released the official box art for Mario Party: Star Rush. The game was streamed live on Nintendo’s Treehouse E3 stream. Nintendo played some mini games and an area called Toad Scramble. The recently announced Super Mario amiibo will be compatible with the game, including the amiibo for Waluigi. We included the box art for the game down below, so feel free to check it out.

  1. You sure that’s official? I have that same picture on my wall. It came with a cake. Nintendo isn’t one to reuse artwork are they?

  2. Not going to say it looks promising, because I won’t believe we have a good Mario Party before I play it. But I’ll say this: The “always your turn” sounds a lot better than the car-gimmick.

Still wish we could just go back to board games…

  3. When they bring back the board game mechanics, then I’ll care. Til then, no thanks. Same with Paper Mario. Bring back the RPG element then we’ll talk. Otherwise, both of these franchises are dead to me.

  4. This game better a return to the old style mario party or it will be a pass for me. Get rid of the cart and other stupid gimmicks. Get back to collecting stars and coins on fun boards and better minigames.

    1. It’s gonna be hard to go back to the old style of Mario Party when everyone can move AT THE SAME TIME. It’s been so far removed from board games that it isn’t even funny. :/
